I don't understand how Yussouf Poulsen keeps on coming back better than ever on the first team, last season he was almost out of the squad and now he's starting again, truly a Leipzig legend. He's been at the club since the 3rd division in Germany, would live to see him and Leipzig win the Bundesliga
He has been at the club since 3rd division because RBL had money no other Club in the 3rd divison had so they could afford him. They were paying like Bundesliga clubs and Poulsen was too good for 3rd division. Poulsen went to RBL because of money. Nothing fancy about all of it.

Its quite easy to get these types of players if you have that sort of money. They spent insanely much in their early days and didnt have to make a penny in sales due to stupid red bull. Now everyone complements them for makung smart transfer, but this club only works off of redbull money, nothing else
