Just got into them recently also and i must say, this might be the first group that i like all of their voices from the start. Also J is my new favorite rapper in 4th gen. Still can't believe shes the youngest along with Yoon.
Up til now Sumin had been catching my attention with her tone and all those smooth low notes in So Bad and Stereotype. But now in Run2u Isa took a turn in the dangerous range and it worked on me. I was saying something about her vocals and find out she's the main dancer like come on now. They're always really interesting in tones I've never had such an easy time telling voices apart so quickly. Basically they all have potential to become serious problems and we just have to see how it shakes out.
Since you checked out a couple of guides for rookie girl groups I highly recommend you check out Purple Kiss as well! They're Mamamoo's sister group and debuted last year. They're super talented and have amazing personalities
Do check out also Weeekly...they also amazing too since they've been training together with Sumin and Seeun. "An introduction to Weeekly by todaileee" is the best know them
Pronunciation guide: Isa is eye-sa. Sumin is sue-meen. Seeun is say-un; it has so many E's together only because of how Hangul is written in Latin letters which gets very misleading in this case. Sieun is the one pronounced see-un. There is that grammar rule SI is pronounced "she" but in videos I haven't heard THEM saying it that way like Dreamcatcher Siyeon or Everglow Sihyeon. J and Yoon are the easy ones.
Not sure how this guide chose the order of the members. Sumin is the oldest and the leader, and Isa is older than Seeun. Sumin, Sieun and Isa are the unnie line; Seeun, Yoon and J are the maknae line. Isa is pronounced "eye-sa", don't worry though because in the beginning even she herself sometimes said "ee-sa" and then corrected herself to "eye-sa". The other members call her Chaeyoung 99% of the time though :p I wouldn't say Yoon has leader energy if you see their behind the scenes stuff, she's more like the cheeky teen of the family xD To be fair, even though Sumin is the leader, you might not think so at first either, she's kind of a fake maknae and gets teased a lot by the other members (especially about being short), but she suddenly has leader energy when she needs to. She's also my bias
