It makes semse he would be unbreakable if he knows that when his body "dies" it just means he can infest an even stronger one. With that being the case, what truly does he have to fear?
It was extremely painful for a chorf main as myself to witness. Awful micro on such an important unit. I think the chorf player should done 1 blundebuss and bull centaur instead of fireborn. Also he should of had the hobgoblins on the flanks near the trees to look for inc units. Hindsight is 20/20 and I certainly am not a good player in multi but this was cringeworthy watching those blunderbuss’s unprotected and getting fully enveloped. Also he should of went with maybe a deamons tongue in stead of the shotguns. With 2h bull centaurs and a cheaper sorcerer prophet on a bale Taurus. Astragoth costs over 3k gold not a good idea in my opinion.
watching that unit just run into the ogres on the first charge because they were mis-micro'd was what stopped me watching the rest of the fight and skipping to the forgone conclusion. If you take ranged units and then decide to throw them into melee, you're gonna have a bad time.
I feel like with Thrones of Decay, Warhammer 3 is fianlly back on track and when CA keeps it up it may become as fun as Warhammer 2 at it's best. Probably not gonna happen with all the layoffs and what not at CA, but you know, a man can dream.
Who knows. This DLC is clearly CA giving their all to try and earn back the favor lost. Perhaps if it does well and we show them it worked they will invest in keeping it going.
On the tabletop, a Rot Beast (the thing Kazyk rides) would grant its rider regeneration, do Exalted Heroes riding Rot Beasts regenerate? The Tears of Nurgle are a chain hex, so once they proc on a fleeing unit, can that unit spread the plague to a non-fleeing unit to drain the vigour of all enemies around it? Also, do you think we'll be seeing more Archaon and Kholek now that they have a character who can heal them?
Archaon with healing is going to be nasty he has a large HP pool and is one of the strongest duellists in the game. Now he can get Fleshy abundances sent his way will be terrifying. In campaign atleast I always use Exalted heroes of Nurgle to heal him normally. If those heroes can now also get regeneration of their own by riding the Rot Beast they are going to be seriously nasty they can already go toe to toe with most lords and even legendary lords in a duel.
@spoof6023 All rot knights have regen. Its more a question of do the characters that now can use them as mounts also get the regen since that's a TT rule. I doubt they will as that may be considered too strong but would be very nice in adding to Nurgle character toughness overall.
@@cinder8926they might get regen when on the mount, if you look at Skaven for example, chieftains and pack masters dont have base regen, but they do get It when they acquire a brood horror mount, so It might work in the same way
Turin are you guys allowed to run Epidimius? I'm assuming he's really just good in campaign since his whole stick is the tallymen. not exciting to most but bearers have always been my favorite unit both table top and in game. What is your take?
Gonna be tough for factions like Chaos Dwarfs to adapt to the new much more mobile tools for Nurgle like Pestigors I think but they can probably manage. Seems like it's now a matchup where you want to bring a wider build that's going to get overwhelmed less easily and some of the more mobile war machines over static units and elite infantry?
The CD player took a very strange army IMO; yes, his main "hammer" was unable to contribute because he couldn't protect his blunderbusses, but tools like the Skullcracker, Deathshriek, even magma cannon could all be great against Nurgle mass infantry and he didn't do any of that, while he took a lot of basic chawi infantry that's never going to be able to chop through Nurgle hp.

I keep seeing the Mastery of Elemental Winds icon on hero mages in replays, i assume the icon is used for something else in 5.0, since it never seems to increase the Spell Intensity?
I wonder if the healing burst on death tamurkan has is affected by reaching the regen cap. With as much healing as nurgle has, I can't see tamurkan dying without reaching the healing cap before hand, so I wonder if he just dies anyway or if he can still heal a small amount past the cap with that ability
Are you allowed to show the picking screen with base costs and all before the release? Really curious about price points of the new nurgle units especially.
People have been playing dom too much and they've forgotten that in land battle where tight management of key resources is king you should box your powder units to keep them responsive when turning and targeting units at an angle.
Wow, that didn't look particularly close! The Dawi-Zharr didn't really seem to even get good hits in, just being enveloped and swamped. The price of a narrow elite army with its punch in ranged units, I guess--if you don't screen them you just die
Anybody got a date on the DLC/patch drop date yet? I'm a little baffled we still haven't heard, I was hoping for the end of this month but still not having a date is troubling😅
Definitely looks like Chawi player was giving his blunderbusses attack orders and they were running into melee in order to get "LOS" instead of shooting, as per the annoying behavior introduced right before 1.5
Do you guys think the Chorf player should have used artillery?? I can't help but imagine one of those fire artillery pieces would have been great against slow and fighty Nurgle.
Vanilla nurgle units are crying in the corner in this matchup 😂 The only vanilla units were the poison warhounds. Which is totally fine! Nurgle can finally rush, huzzah! 💚
I hope the dlc cost not more than 24.99Euro - 10% discount like in the past, but i doubt it because normally the price would now be their and we could buy early.

Also, if using a box formation a flame cannon would have paid dividends. But really I think Turin just played a game to showcase the new Nurgle stuff instead of a more competitive game versus CDs.
Blunderbusses do just fine if you actually protect them so they can shoot. If you just let them get fully enveloped they won’t do shit against decent inf. This player wasn’t rly using his brain also notice he had the blazing beards nearby just standing there watching 2 units of blunderbusses get smashed.

Having an ogre chop you in half with its weapon after it puked all over it.
Still better than literally being trampled to death

Pretty sure that Tamurkhan needs unbreakable for his ability to proc, knowing that he has to "die" :)
It could proc without unbreakable, but then there likely wouldn't be any lord or hero chasing him down lol
