No. Actually during installation of android studio it did check whether the programing language you want to use is already been installed or not, it is not installed it will download that language and install it along with android studio installation. Same thing happens for java as well. Earlier this wasn't the case. But now they became smart and install the language also along with ide. So my information at the beginning of the video to install java first then android studio is not 100% correct. But it's always a good habit to install java first.

That is because slow internet I guess. But looking at the configuration I would say it will still lag but manageable. If possible try upgrading ram to 8gb. And never use emulator.

As we coding in java ,java should be installed first. If i code in kotlin then i have to install kotlin first and no need of java. right?
