I got rid of my glass glasses when I turned 55. I didn't feel comfortable carrying them outside on a tray to my guests. I had heard of ladies falling with them or them breaking while being washed so I replaced mine with pretty decorated plastic ones from the local K-Mart store. This year with our stimulus money in mind I hope to purchase a new and beautiful set.
