Today we are doing some fall walleye fishing. I love fall fishing. I love walleye fishing. Conditions have changed rapidly in the past week and so has the bite. Walleye are starting to show up on many of there deep rock spots which they spend most of the fall on. Fishing deep rock with big jigs and minnows is one of the most effective ways to catch walleyes all fall. In this video I talk about how to jig these fish when they are on these spots. Jigging a minnow seems simple but it really is the specifics that put more fish in the boat. Thanks for watching!

Tom has the best walleye advice on RUclips. I bought a Picifun Carbon X reel earlier in the year and couldn't be happier with it. I would choose this reel over many of higher priced reels. Best part of fall is the ski boats, jet skis pleasure boaters and wimpy fisherman are gone!

Most informative fishing show ever.
Took my brand new Battle II 5000 for a spin yesterday for the very first time and I hooked a 20lb yellowtail using a Ugly Stik X2 (medium hard) rod ruclips.net/user/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . This combo was recommended on some website and it did not disappoint me. The reel is smooth, the drag click is pretty cool cause i think it adds to the excitement of fighting the fish, personally the drag is my favorite part. I use braid and 300 yards will fill the entire spool. This combo is my main setup from now on although I have to disclose I am new to fishing.

I think Toms is a 185 and that boat is def a 205. So either he got a whole new rig or its Mitchell's boat. I bet its Mitchells boat, i think he mentioned some wiring issues with his boat briefly in one vid

I am a believer! I've been subscriber all summer and learned lots of great techniques but have not been good at IDing fish on side imaging or matching the techniques you were teaching. I knew if I kept at what you were saying I would finally have success.Tonight I set up exactly as your video said: 3/8 oz jig, big sucker minnow, 10 # braid with 5 ft fleuro leader on a Piscifun carbon x 2000. Found the 25 - 30 ft underwater point into deepwater, near a flat. Used your controlled pop retrieve. Result: My first walleye this year. But what a walleye. Hook jawed and 30 inches! We live in Northern Michigan and since you are about a days weather before you so I really appreciate the up to date conditions. Keep these videos coming.
