Everything was happening when he was calling the shots, doing jokic things. Pantos is very technical and it showed that his team lacked in communication and gameplan. The other two couldn't really get going.
No it all fell apart when he started pushing the cheap foul game. He was on fire and had the ball in the post then made a very weak foul call, missed his shot and handed over possession for no reason.
Hate to see him going for cheap tricks and dragging down the game.

He has nothing to learn in terms of handling. His problem is his finishing is too predictable, he always uses inside hand finish. He loses the ball in weird scenarios, and lastly he gambles to much on defense. He just has stay in front.
He has great handles but I think he needs to expand his move set, he spams the same dribble moves over and over. He needs to add different combos to the mix . Also his jumper is broke, needs major work.

One thing I've noticed from watching Jlew, is that his 3 from the left side is by far his worst shot area. He won't even take them from the other side a lot of times, so maybe hes only comfortable shooting from top of the key. All that being said, I just didn't see him attack enough this game. Even when Alex was out of position or there was a switch or late recovery, he just passed it without even dribbling. He hiding something?
I think it’s a mental thing that’s going on with him. I know the post injury factor might be playing a role, but I’m starting to have doubts that it’s about the injury anymore, and I feel like it’s more of a psychological thing, and I feel like he may have lost touch with how he used to play and how special his style used to be. Again this is a guess, but I know that he had to change his style up after he got back from injury, most likely because he like physically couldn’t play the way he used to, probably because it was too straining. But now, even though he’s most likely fully healed, maybe this new play style he was initially forced to develop seems kinda like stuck with him, and with it, a lesser amount of confidence compared to his old style. That’s a possible guess, because I sware, this man used to have about 50 different moves, (all of which were so unique and smooth) that he could hit somebody with that were so creative and lethal and he looked so much less rigid. I just know when I watch him now like in this video, that he is so much more capable than he his displaying. At the end of the day he’ll always be my favorite player and I love him, I just want to seen him be the player that I know deep down he is.

He might just be in a slump honestly I can imagine this and the L he took on Next Chapter a while back in Virginia took place around the same time with this being shit after losing the 1v1. I think Jlew came back from the injury thinking he was gonna whoop everyone’s ass posting a whole workout vid and everything but sadly he got humbled. He prob just gotta shake it off and get back into the swing of things no matter how long it takes.
Side note also wanna add he’s playing with guys who know his bag like the back of their hand so for them guarding him is somewhat predictable. Also doesn’t help that Friga legit desaturates his game by stealing his drop hesi move that he likes to do.

Feel bad for Pantos, Gabby lacks confidence and Jlew looked like he didn’t want to be there. He had no scoring threat on his team but was creating good offense with those two players. Felt like he was playing 1v3 at times, nonetheless he proved he doesn’t need a super team to compete. If you need Pantos to be the main scorer, then there is something wrong with your team, because he usually is NOT a scorer, but a screener and shot creator for others. I saw this one coming the moment the teams were announced. JLew is fun to watch in 1on1 and 5on5 where he can work off cuts and when someone rests for a second and he is off to the races, but you are not winning games with him as the first scoring option and it is mainly long shots. Only if he gets hot, which he barely ever does from outside.

I see a lot of comments on JLew. I'm gonna say big man definitely bothered JLew a lot in this game. JLew is obviously a very wiry, Jamal Crawford type. He could also evolve his game simply by hitting the gym, getting stronger and feeling more confident about his strength in general. This would add an element to his driving game as well, as he rarely uses his shoulders to bump and often tries to go up and under instead, which works against inferior comp but not against legit defensive D3 and up.

I can't lie for the height that Dav has he is pretty bad. Doesn't know the fundamentals of the game. Height with no physicality, no actual bag. Pantos at Dav height will be way better than what Dav is now. Separately J Lew got a lot of hot and cold days with his shot and work rate he needs to get in the lab.

AJ and Alex both have tremendous leadership qualities was great. You really couldn't have paired Dav up with two better guards. Constantly looked for him, and constantly pushed him to be better. Dav is really frstruting to watch because the potential is there but it seems like the basketball IQ hasn't come in yet. Needs to watch more film and hit the weight room too.
Gabriel probably played one of his better games here, but he too needs to just sharpen his game so he can carry a scoring load which he couldnt here. Don't think his game works in anything less than a 5v5 setting at the moment. And obviously work on his defense which is just strength, hustle, and discipline. Pantos by far played his best game yet which I hate lol. Felt like he was playing 1 on 3 at times. To be honest, I forgot who Gabriel and Pantos other teammate was. Did they even have a third teammate?

Gaby and Jleww couldve gotten a lot more easy buckets on the drive if they looked to make contact before the shot. A lot of the times when Gaby drove in on Dav, he would 1-2 then jump without taking up space from Dav first and he had to settle with a very difficult shot.
Pantos played pretty well this game, but he also needs to stop complaining about fouls, especially since he probably fouls the most (throwing the ball at Dav's face and also pulling his shirt). Props to Dav for keeping his composure after that.
It's also good that he's being vocal, but sometimes he's just talking for no reason. When he tells Jlew to "ATTACK, GO IN", he accomplishes nothing but distracting his teammate and destroying any offensive rhythm Jleww was trying to build up.
