I had a CT scan with contrast of my head and neck due to dizzines and headache, thanks god everything came out clear. My question is, can CT scan be wrong and not to see some changes? I was with Neurologist and he is sending me to do brain MRI I don’t know why since CT scan is good. I am a little bit worried.
Thank you so much!
Very easy to understand
great for beginners
Hey sir ..
My father has acute infarct in left corona radiata.
As I don't have any medical background it is hard for me to understand what does it actually, can anyone tell me what is it ? Is it life threatening ?
thumbnail looks like a hamster
I can’t unsee it now😂
Hi..is Ischaemic infarction same as a stroke ? Cheers
عندي فديو حدا بقلي نتيجتو
I need help my father get stroke in posterior circulation infarct involving cerebellum , brain stem and occipital loves BA to thrombosis ,k/c/o hypertension on 5 July 2020 so till now he his unconscious doc said it totally depend on my father and they are giving totally negative statements so I want to know how much time it will take I love my father I can go beyond the limit for him just want to know how much time it will take plz share your experience it's request from a son
I’m sorry to hear about your father. There are a ton of free speech therapy programs online! Also, lots of Zoom Support Groups he might like to participate in. Check out all of the free stuff he can do, everyday on the website Lingraphica. I hope his recovery is going better. ✌️
@Meredith M what I need to do can u explain me properly plz
vivek pachange ,just Google: Lumosity.com and register for the daily , 3 free games he can work on. I’d set a time when he does this and have him play at that time, everyday.
Also, in Facebook (Groups), search for: Stroke Support. You will see all of the groups about stroke and join one (or more), that you think would be a good fit for him
And FYI, there are many caregiver resources online too! If you are your dad’s caregiver,, you might consider joining one that will be helpful and supportive, for YOU! There are also, “Caregiver Resource Centers” in many communities and online. You can get some great ideas from other caregivers, who are going through what you are.
Lastly, I mentioned Lingraphica’s website in my earlier post. Lingraphica is affiliated with a Facebook Group called “Virtual Connections.”
They offer free, online Support Groups for people who have Cognitive deficits (Aphasia), after having a stroke. There are Stroke Survivors and their loved ones, from all over the world, in attendance!
Many times, these meetings also include professionals and/or Students who specialize in Stroke rehabilitation.
These meetings are held on the Zoom app, each week!
Let me know ii can be more help!
How is he doing these days?
Does he currently participate in any Rehab Therapies, like: Physical, Occupational, Speech/Cognitive, Vestibular or Physical therapists?
Any other medical professionals, like a Neurologist or Psychiatrist/Psychologist?
Hopefully, these resources can help guide you, in your caregiving efforts. I think it will help you to learn about why he is having certain symptoms and how you can best, help him improve! 🤗
@meredith M thanks bro just pray for my father that he will open his eyes soon
vivek pachange oooh! I thought he was home with you and conscious. Is he still in a coma at the hospital? Since that’s your situation, I have a much more applicable website for you to get some good information and ask questions & find support. It’s www.waiting.com or waiting.org. Hope you’re ok and find some reassurance & understanding. 🙏
The most common strokes are not embolic, they are thrombotic.
Actually, they're thrombo-embolic
No its embolic > hmg> thrombotic
