Another awesome video Jam-Jam, that last mile seems awful because they can't close it off. If there was a close race it could be a disaster for one or more of the runners.
Great filming as always! Watching this kind of race coverage gets me pumped up for the sport once again! There are at least two other 50 milers in the Headlands that I know of. The Marin Ultra Challenge 50m held in March, and the Headlands 100 in September, which also has a 50 mile option. The latter has 5700’ climbing in a 25 mile loop, done twice or thrice or quad. You get the unique opportunity to run up and down the north side of Hill 88😃 because the loops are washing machined. It’s Held by Pacific Coast Trail Runs. If all of the elites are itching to get in 50 in the Headlands lets see you at one of these! There is still a chance to throw down your skills in a heady trail race. I loved the part where Corinne Malcom is giving the mountain biker advice on his timing for his descent from cardiac.
So sad to hear that 2019 was the last. Hoping that maybe some other sponsor can take the place of The North Face. Such a great race and I hate to see it fade away. Great video shoot...two thumbs up !

@@ErLong1800 TNFEC is only for North America, 50 mile races. TNF100 is only for AP, 100km races and no championships like TNFEC California. U can say that both of them are easy race for beginners and also sponsored by TNF. BUT they are different, irrelavant series.
As a one person filmed of this year I did the best I could. Can’t be everywhere and I was following the lead Salomon athletes. Sebastian just happened to be way out front.

There is a course map posted on the website but also the trial and turns are marked.

what is the elevation gain on this course?
per TNF, 50m has 10,666ft and the 50k has 6,736ft. neither have many huge climbs but the course is relentlessly rolling
