The 5axis (3+2) G-code Programming with ProgramGuide webinar is designed to show a user how to leverage 5-axis machining technologies in the demanding markets of the job shop. The course is intended to give users the ability to both create G-code programs at the control as well as understand critical cycles that will be used by your post processor when creating CAD/CAM based programs. We will first look at the key functions within the Siemens control that aid in dramatically simplifying the tasks of setting up a 5-axis machine. Through leveraging such cycles like Align Edge and Align Plane, we can demonstrate how these functions will reduce setup time and increase productivity. Once the part has been setup, we will explore how to handle 5-axis part programming in G-code directly on the control. Attendees will be able to see a basic part program created, simulated and run in auto mode giving an excellent understanding of the entire process from setup through part production.
As a machinist and sinumerik 840 user your videos really help alot. Thanks
Glad to help
Can you upload another video about 3+2 Tapping? (Tap in Tilted Axis)
Noh Jong Mun I don’t currently have on for tilted plain tapping but will put it on the list for development. In the mean time let me know if you have any specific questions.
Is this the standard format for most 3+2 machines?
yes as long as the OEM commissioned the swivel cycle
To get the plane normal after 3 point alignment, why use swivel cycle instead of a simple MDA program like below?
G0 G90 G54 Z0
A0 C0
M30
because that code is not aligning the plane(WCS) that is only moving machine(MCS). MCS vs WCS
Can viewers download presenation?
I just added the download link to the video description
How can I download this simulator?
you can download it from here - new.siemens.com/global/en/markets/machinebuilding/machine-tools/cnc4you/sinutrain-uebersicht.html
How to get PDF drawing, sir?
email me at chris.pollack@siemens.com and i would be happy to share it.
Как можно перевести ваше рассказ.
sorry we did not have it translate
Can you introduce some other video to me? I'm in mts too, I like your video
