You don't know what quest tracking looks like because they still have to keep things secret until the game comes out. Pretty simple answer. Todd even said there's more to the game than was shown here (and they showed a lot). It's one of those "you'll see it when you play it" things.

What they're showing is really nice, but what I love is that there's a great framework for cool things you can add to the game in DLC, new character backgrounds or traits, new skill abilities. New Missions or locations. It's sure to be a GOTY game so I'm expecting even more content I can interact with through replays. This feels like a day-one purchase for me.

I have literally been searching for hate on this game and I’ve seen one channel with valid points, that all said I pre ordered cause I’m not broke or a pussy and I am more than confident in this game!! Gonna be a game we are playing for years to come.
Yeah, definitely great game don't get me wrong but it looks to me that they masterfully omitted how this game doesn't seem to have a "drive through atmosphere with your spaceship and blow upsettlements/enemies/other vessels". Also once on orbit, it doesn't seem to allow you to manually drive to the next planet in the same solar system, it has a jump system which acts like portals and while it may be open world terrestrially on the planets' surfaces/space stations/orbits from your character's point of view, it definitely doesn't look so open world from your ship's point of view and it doesn't seem to have a seamless transition from the planet's surface through the atmosphere, through the orbit, through the space beyond the orbit, until you reach the next planet. Did you notice how the Grav-Drive immedially distorts everything around you so you can't even see your ship actually grav-driving from the orbit of your current location to the next planet? That is a cheap teleportation trick. You basically teleport from one planet's orbit to the next planet's orbit and you teleport from the planet's orbit to the planet's surface through a clever "landing" automated animation. That is not open world. Not in the sense they hoped we blindly assumed until we actually found out the extent of their outer-space semi-open world. Found it interesting that they speak how much they've dreamt of doing this for so many years, the "space game", and when it came to it, "the space game" looks more like "the terrestrial game of 1000 planets" rather than "the Galactic game of 1000 planets". Space ships may act like space ships on orbit, which is great, but they seem to act like bases on the planet's surface, a base that you can allegedly jump from one location to another, but not really fly it yourself through and shoot stuff with it. The most important thing they said was that they were balancing realism with sci-fi and they ended up with "what's fun for the player". It is a game after all, and who cares for ultra-realism when it hinders your gameplay? We want our games fun! That's why we play them. In any case, the attention to detail is amazing, it truly is a next-gen semi-open world sci-fi RPG. Even if buggy, I will still make this game my main game for the forseable future. There is no other game out there currently to deliver such an expansive scope, next gen realistic but fun for the player gameplay/style/art. Just wish it had more you could do with your space ship in terms of manual atmosphere cruising/battle, maybe the sequel will.

Shame that the game didnt end up being as good as we expected. Still had my fun with it though for sure
You're talkin about the quest markers.. meanwhile I'm still having flashbacks to Morrowind.. thank god it won't be cryptic like that... "Head towards the Orion Nebula, in the distance you'll see a semi sorta blueish star, on the 4th planet, 3rd moon, on the dark side, next to a hill is a tree. I left my knife there.. Go find it"
you know what i need? buggies or vehicules to move trow the planets, imagine those being stored inside the ship, i really want that and i know they forgeted about that
3:32 I'm convinced that's the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Which makes me think Earth is a lifeless wasteland in the game. That's why it wasn't talked about much in the deep dive.
I do not understand why everyone says it’s just no man’s sky. It’s literally nothing like nms. Apart from resource gathering and a general space theme they are very different games
@@GamingPlayroom this
I mean, there are definitely similarities to no mans sky. But theres clearly like proper civilizations and cities and true rpg mechanics that stop it from being a no mans sky clone.
@@ProperlyGaming Yes, there are also similarities to Fallout and Call of Duty. Or Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. Does that mean they are the same game, genre and they are just clones of each other? That's just dumb. It's as if people never played another Space game than No Mans sky in their life.
@@DragaXZ oh yeah, i agree with you for sure. But seeing as no mams sky was the biggest most recent space game itd make sense folk would see the similarity and some even claim its just trying to copy it.
What aboat vehicle when exploring, should I walk all the time??
I can’t wait to see that execution video from years ago done once again in Starfield.
I'm excited to see what kind of funny bugs will be in the game. loved to weird things that happened in skyrim, like a dragon falling out of the sky dead in front of whiterun for no reason
Yeah, i just assumed they were dying of old age mid flight.
Been playing the older fallout games and the same thing has happened with ghouls and NCR
Dude, you have a great attitude😎
I just subscribed to you channel
people who said no mans sky copy. did we see the same showcase?
The amount of DLC they're going to sell for this game will be epic. I'll probably have to pawn a kidney to keep up.
Alternatively, wait a couple years and get the Definitive Edition on sale ;)
keep up great work JC
I wonder if I can make the planet express ship....oh damn Fry playthrough may have to happen
Oh no the by azura npc is back
"Do they have tac sprinting"
A lot of reactions recently, are they doing e3 or something similar?
(I heard e3 was gone before, is that like a permanent thing?)
@@brain_bank48 Doesn’t make sense. No one’s gonna watch those
@@ZachFish- you watched. I watched. He watched. They watched.. many watched. It just works.
@@youcantakemygoogleaccount2359 I definitely didn’t. Didn’t even hear about this stuff either. Guarantee E3 had more viewers
@@ZachFish- plenty of people watch them, thats why the studios and companies just decided to do their owm showcases and stuff from now on instead of e3.
i’m gonna build a giant star destroyer it’s gonna have so many guns
With the animals, they confirmed there will only be life on around 10% of planets. The game goes for a more realistic approach with animals made as if they were natural inhabitants of their planets, rather than the No Mans Sky creatures that are just random and everywhere.
I've been waiting for this game my entire life.
"Full time streamer✋"-JC 2023 😳
You don't know what quest tracking looks like because they still have to keep things secret until the game comes out. Pretty simple answer. Todd even said there's more to the game than was shown here (and they showed a lot). It's one of those "you'll see it when you play it" things.
Looks like I'm gonna use the Force lol at 125GB download, add day 1 patch and mod support down the line we'll be playing this longer than Skyrims lifespan
Dream RPG, almost overwhelming
So many good moments thanks
Just bought new laptop to play this game! Will be playing it in 7 days! Really hope devs are rewarded with swarms of new customers and returning customers to make this profitable and encourage other devs to follow suit with such expansive content!
What they're showing is really nice, but what I love is that there's a great framework for cool things you can add to the game in DLC, new character backgrounds or traits, new skill abilities. New Missions or locations. It's sure to be a GOTY game so I'm expecting even more content I can interact with through replays. This feels like a day-one purchase for me.
but i have one question. Where is water? Worlds without water? what the hell
As a pc player, the 30fps cap on consoles doesn’t bother me lol. It’s gonna be higher for me.
Ofcourse. Even in consoles you can always lower the settings
The ship building reminds me of the Gummy ships from Kingdom Hearts!! But more detailed! Sooooo into that!!
i dont think ill ever finish this game
surprised we did get a gears 6 announcement. its been a while now since gears 5
Can I make the Enterprise 1701-A Refit? If so that would be cool. However, I am guessing not based on the design.
made you guys forget 60fps
You can always lower the settings
Steady 60 fps is plenty.
There is no co-op, there is no atmosphere flight, there are no land vehicles....Modders..hold my energy drink.
Frame rate is only locked to 30 FPS on console right? Anyone know this for sure? PC version will depend on system specs I would think.
Yes, they have confirmed this
@@pingpongun8519 Thanks, I must have missed it but glad to know it now. I gave up on consoles last generation.
@@SnaFubar_24 Same, gave up on consoles in 2019. Best decision i ever did. My PC can run most stuff on the highest settings and cost the saem as a PS4 and PS5 combined. And considering i can play old game, new games, write stuff, watch stuff, mod stuff just makes the PC the biggest money saver for a gamer in the longrun
@@pingpongun8519 Yup same for me. It cost a bit more than a console but I built it myself and didn't spend all the $ at one time. I use highest settings and have no issues.
I'm shocked at how accurate and surprised at how I'm understanding every term the guy said on the weapon I'm shocked asf omgoodness look at this game, now I gotta go ask Optimus Prime for an Allspark cube so I can play this colossal sci-fi 80s game because ughhhhhhhh Xbox jammed themselves into a light speed thumbs up in my opinion because ain't no fucking way boiiiii!!!!!!!
simply put, Goty.
Can't believe SS Boy is in the game! Instant buy.
1:58 best life, best wife
If this comes out at the "wrong" time, my mid-terms could suffer horribly.
I have literally been searching for hate on this game and I’ve seen one channel with valid points, that all said I pre ordered cause I’m not broke or a pussy and I am more than confident in this game!! Gonna be a game we are playing for years to come.
This game is on another lvl i buy it even if it cost 1000 €
Adoring fan 15:55
My only concern is traversing the planet itself. They can't expect us to walk all over right?
the Elite Dangerous Odyssey that we wanted
YOOO A BETHESDA CITY THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A CITY
