so many people screamed "nerf hilda" when hilda showed up on screen only to lose grand finals to ruby and ragna lol
If more people would learn how to take advantage of her god awful frame data, I doubt there'd be such a clamor for her to be nerfed. She has no real reversals.

Once you learn her awful frame date and how vulnerable she is, its easy , but Ruby on the other side....

Me as a Gordeau main for no other reason other than I like him and he's fun to play: Magic. Why does it always have to be fucking magic...
In case anyone was curious. There PROBABLY is a way to counter this and I'm still super new to the game. I started practicing combos with Gordeau and Carmine specifically for the past month. I have a tendency to stay with a set of characters for practice before moving on to someone else. I guess what I'm trying to ask is does anyone got any tips for me to better myself or am I gonna get memed tonight? (I have a feeling that I'm asking for it XD)
@Brittany Oppenheimer super late response, but the best thing to do is pick two characters and stay with them! Don't spend too much time learning super complicated combos, just learn something that does decent damage ~5k-6k damage. Focus more on your neutral and pressure, even if you're not doing optimal damage, if an opponent can't get away from you, there's nothing they can do.
@Bryson Garraway Thank you! I recently switched to the ps4 to play (I'm kind of at the point where I might want to get serious about it) since the switch console controllers are not made for something like this.
Right now I'm learning how to tech properly, which is tricky! And rollback is coming out in April, which should help. I'm probably the only Gordeau main online right now haha, but I stuck with my team for a while and feel like I am getting better, and that makes me feel good.

@Bryson Garraway The one thing I REALLY hate about this game is the tag system online. It's something that really makes me seeth inside. I was a light green tag for a while and I fought someone with the same tag color not knowing I would lose it next match. Oh also, my opponent did it with my mains, which hurts.
It's so demeaning. Sometimes I just want to play someone who is my level without the fear of losing my ranking. That's why I never engage with same color tags unless I feel really confident about it. Since I am back to dark green tag status. Finding others like me is going to be pretty much impossible...
