If I am not wrong Kirloskar Neoplan was the first monocoque bus. I have travelled from Mumbai to Panjim Goa & Pune Kolhapur route. It was full air suspension with rear trailing arm with front independent suspension.

The video titles mentions 'monoqoque', but shows or talks very little about it... Is this semi monoqoque Or fully monoqoque ? Felt there was a ladder frame beneath to which the suspension was fixed.

Corona Bus Manufacturers Private Limited from Pune started by an IITian is the first monocoque bus manufacturer in India. Not this company!!! They are already plying lots of buses all over India. They also have front independent suspension. You should know all this before making videos on youtube.
They should now change the name. 😅

@@manikandanvettichira2676 When you build a vehicle, the basic metal frame will have shape of the vehicle. Like small or medium size cars. These vehicles are called monocoque structure vehicles.
Another type is called Ladder-on-Frame structure. Like trucks, buses, big cars like Innova. Where you start building the vehicle on a platform. Then you build the body on top of the platform.

0:23 Chasis Nahi? Correct me if i am wrong. Monocoque bhi ek Chasis type hi hai na? I mean isme body aur chasis integrated rehta hai. Aur conventional chasis ki tarah alag body laga ne ki zaroorat nahi padthi. Right?
Monocoque mein chassis nahi hota hain. Wheel aur axle ko directly body fram se join karke monocoque bus banti hain. Chassis na hone ke karan se monocoque bus ki weight 4.5 ton halki hoti hain.
Volvo, Scannia etc are also monocoque/unibody

Kirloskar built Monocoque buses in the late 80s...Corona built them in the 2000s.....this is not the first...and it's not a full size bus...

@@anilnair2911 Buses are built on Semi-monocoque chassis (Chassis + Structure to support body frames)
This one is built on a fully monocoque chassis.
I think he meant to say that the bus doesn't have a semi-monocoque chassis.
Talking only about cosmetic, what about technical details like horse power, torque mileage etc., & What way this is better than other models like TATA or AL or SML or Eicher !
This segment king is eicher,no possible to beat him eicher,but force not used lot of opportunity in india,the place now have by eicher,should have to be force,
