Wow. I'm American and I'd live there! used to much bigger spaces, though. I have lived twice in studio apartments in the US. Those are a one room apt. with separate bathroom.

Can you use tension rods and a floating shelf for toilet paper storage?? There's so much room above the toilet that I'm surprised the landlord hasn't added it! I LIKE this apartment!!
I was thinking to just install a hutch over the toilet, thats what we have at my house.
I would just keep the toilet paper under the sink.
could add one of those units that go over the toilet too with a cabinet and extra shelves
Health wise it is better to have your living spaces separated...... it may be higher up than you like...but it is very open ....and you can have more than just your bed. Desk and chair. In your living space...and add live plants..... stay safe stay healthy!... looking forward to the next one...
Usui, another great find. Only thing I do not like is the kitchenette. There is not enough counter space to cook. The living area can fit a whole living room suit. Plus a bed or a pull our soda bed. I liked it.
I do feel if Netherlands makes micro or small apartments, then the housing crisis can be solved truly.
I feel inspired by these episodes, keep on searching, Usui.
This place is really quite nice. Out of all the places you’ve shown us this is one of my favorites. It’s very livable even with the lack of toilet paper storage. Unfortunately I think the landlord knows it because of that price. Ouch.

I agree this one is fabulous. Everything is well thought out. Nice cupboards in the kitchen and you could store your toilet paper under the bathroom sink. Of course it’s a small apartment and not a micro so it costs a lot more. It would be so nice to entertain there.
Holy, i expected the rent with all its features to be at $850 minimum. This is nice! I am loving the spacious toilet area. You can actually sit and not bump your knees against anything
The house is very nice, but it is a bit expensive. You can put your toilet papers in the cabinet under the bathroom sink or add a shelf above the toilet. Nice video usui-san 😊

This is pretty close to the top of my list for apartments you've toured so far. It's the most practical layout in my opinion. And larger than your current place, if that is what you are considering now. I would strongly recommend you move in, if other factors are positive.
I have moved a lot in the last 30 years. I've found it is a good idea to have a sense of the neighborhood during the day and night. On the weekends especially. I like to go to the grocery store during the day. Go a local restaurant at night. Preferably both of them within walking distance. I feel you get a good idea about the community you will be joining.

i love this one. it feels homey right away. the amount of natural light in the living area is fantastic. more than 1 small window panel in a room like this is a luxury tbh. everything has a designated place or rack for storage EXCEPT a toilet paper cabinet 🤣. the seapration between the living area and also kitchenette area is a good idea because u dont want living area to smell like food. bathroom is quite spacious tbh. overall this is a very well laid out and designed mini apartment. the light+projector combo is a game changer and totally adds to extra points for this aprtment.
From space for a full sized fridge and washer/dryer to the spacious room big enough for a desk, bed, and even bookcase, this looks like a perfect apartment! The projector is also a nice bonus, but that rent is pretty high.

I like the apartment more than anything else you have looked at, but realize it is more expensive than where you live now. The bathroom is nice, I like the tub. My opinion is that they should put a refrigerator and washer in these apartments, but then they would probably want to charge more. If you compute the monthly or annual cost of having to go out to do your laundry, maybe you could compare that. What does Spidey think?
All I know is I would NOT use that escape rope!! nor could I even use it if needed, the other places have had the rope "ladders" that roll up, they should all have them instead.
I still say you get more space/amenities with just renting two micros at that price, but this is a very dignified place. I like it a lot. If it has good internet and you had to live in there you'd be unlikely to get cabin fever. Very doable.

This apartment is wonderful. So much space and useful floor plan.
The projector is also a big plus. With a balcony and some toilet paper storage it would be perfect.

I love this apartment! You have everything thing that you need. And you can always put your own toilet paper rack in the bathroom yourself!
The best way to evaluate something for me is to imagine using it. In this apartment I can imagine living well: it is large, sunny, clean, technological and there is my beloved little bathtub😍! But we like to come with you to see micro apartments so please continue.🙏☺
This is one of the best apartment you have shown us (and also the most expensieve) with only a few things I would make different. There are many doors for this small room so that there will be the problem for me to place something at the wall. The emergency ladder also stands at the window and at the side of it there is only a small place but I think I would place my bed there and place something on the box of the emergency ladder.
Instead of the shoe cabinet I would place a high bookshelf or a closed shelf. The shoe cabinet is wasted space but the rest is fine. 😊 I only find the red colour of the kitchen too aggressive for me. I would prefer blue, green, yellow or beige and would buy a wallpaper in a colour I like to paste it on the kitchentte. 😁
I like that there is enough space in the bathroom and I like the view outside very much. It looks a bit rural with houses not so tall and quiet and a bit green. 😊

This apartment is almost perfect. The rent is a little high but it has extras like cloths storage and light projector.

No Toilet Paper Storage?! 😵 Well, that makes this apartment completely unsuitable. That massive water heater is a little worrying, and the rental price is quite high. The rescue rope is horrifying. Everything else about this place is super-nice. Love the lamp projector.
Even with no existing toilet paper 🧻 storage, this apartment is fantastic! Toilet paper storage can be made to fit the space (pending landlord approval of course 😅). The light with projector is *such* an ingenious idea! I agree with another commenter - Japanese design 🤌🏻

I often wonder if Japanese landlords allow you to put in nails or bolts onto the wall. I can live with a lot of the places shown on this channel if i can add storage units or shelves to the wall. Plus, it solves the toilet paper storage problem. 😂

I'm thinking you put the toilet paper in the cabinet under the sink, lol. I've never had storage over the toilet without having to use one of those special shelves designed to be over-the-toilet storage unit.
That water heater is so huge! Overall a great apartment except for the rent.

It's not micro, but it's very well equipped small apartment. They did a nice job of giving all the things you need in a small space. The rent seems reasonable for this apartment.
Parece um dos melhores apartamentos. Tudo muito bem dividido em cada ambiente. Sobre o armazenamento de papel higiênico, você pode colocar prateleiras ou guardar embaixo da pia. Gostei do banheiro completo com pia, todo ambiente muito bem aproveitado. O quarto é um show com duas janelas. Porém, o valor do aluguel é bem caro.

I searched for an apartment near my hometown in Germany and only found a 21sqm apartment for 500€. I am glad that I could live further in my old apartment that is bigger but now I know how big (or small) 21 sqm are. 😅

I think I might find an electric oven for this little apartment and put it in the place the refrigerator would normally go and have a minifridge under the induction stove top. I bet I could get one that fits that space. I've recently gotten really into baking bread, so now I'm looking at what's required in my kitchen differently. Can't make all that many kinds of bread without an oven.

I like this Appartement.
I really like this one. Having two windows on two sides in the main room would be especially nice, and I like they way it is arranged. But yes, it's not micro and the price is steeper. Still, if I could afford it, I could definitely live in this
Budget wise - it might be a bit on the pricey end - but otherwise - looks like a pretty good apartment - also - he can't cost that much to add an extra shelf above the toilet for anywhere you want to move...
I really loved this small apartment. It was laid out very well. The home theater was definitely a selling point. However, I understand your search for the perfect micro apartment will continue.

L'appartement a presque tout ce qu'il faut ... Une étagère au dessus des toilettes pour le papier toilette 😉... Mais ne cherchiez vous pas un micro appartement avec un petit espace extérieur (Balcon, mini terrasse) ? ... Sinon le home cinéma, chouette !
Decent layout and plenty of storage options-it's livable, although I'm not a fan of entry à la kitchen, it's uncomfortable. Still, I could live there without developing intense claustrophobia after one week.

That rent is EXPENSIVE 😢. But definitely one of the better options especially if we take into account the location and convenience. Not everything is provided unlike the one on ep36, but definitely has one of the best layouts. And not ground floor so I can definitely live here😂

Alas, you didn't arrange furniture. Ah, well. It's not micro and there are many things you can do with it. I think it's a nice, average small apartment. Though, I would like a balcony for that size. Have you ever given thought to viewing the iconic tatami apartments that rent for 200 usd or less?

And again that ridiculous frosted glass. Not a fan of that. Thats what curtains are for. If its stick on frosting, I'd be peeling that off the windows if I lived there. But the space itself is nice, I could overlook the lack of a toilet paper shelf.
