Hello. Thank you both for keeping us informed. My Ghanaian husband "said what" that's too much money . Sis I am so glad God still working on me. Like your husband said LEAVE MY WESTERN MENTALITY RIGHT HERE IN THE STATES. Thanks again you both are really helping me. Thanks for being honest and preparing us for the move. I know now I need an attitude adjustment, because I am big on customer service. Thank you both again so much.
I will definitely be speaking up and out more, I too am big on customer service and I admit, I have been a bit passive because I didn’t want to come off as “mean” for lack of a better word. But no more, I think just a little bit of the western mentality will be necessary in some situations. I never would have let this slide if this happened in the states. Lesson learned
Yes! My favorite too. Two beautiful persons...great attitudes, flexible, and just people I could see me wanting to have as best friends there when I make it to Ghana.
I will soon share my moving story 😮😢 on what we did received after they had chosen what they wanted at the port.. 20 foot container of goods turned into a maybe 12ft still left inside some also broken at wet had been left in the rain while maybe they selected what they wanted first. .. i guess!! the only blessing out it all we made it here safe! And the best part we moved to the Volta Region Ho.. 😊 December will be one year. Happy you both are settled in now, many blessings. Place looks lovely.
Hello family you guys are truly a God sent. Can't wait to see you guys there ,we are here getting the house ready for the market . See you soon ❤ help on the way
Shalom family, I'm so sorry to hear what you guys went through with your move. Just like you said, lesson learned. Plus, this is going to help all of us when we do things in Ghana. We will have to ask lots of questions. Praise YAH, you are all settled in. May THE MOST HIGH bless you!
Sis let me just start with Gurrrrrrrrrrrrl! 🤯🤯 Alright I am good now. So can you put ratings on Jiji? This is a great review and heads up for others to follow. Definitely value.
LOL!!! I’m not sure if you can out ratings on JiJi or not. This was definitely a lesson learned and we are happy if people learn from it as well. Thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel!!!
Very informative thanks for sharing. I think Jiji is more of a copy of Kijiji even their website set up is similar. Ghanaians play too much with their time and I find that very frustrating. Customer service is a laughter on all level of sectors. like y'all said lesson learned.
Great video, as I listen I hear opportunity in the moving sector. Pls, don't lower your standards. Some of these companies are not registered companies, but individuals just taking advantage of people.
I completely agree! I have been a bit “ nice” for lack of a better word because I didn’t want to come across a particular way, but I see now that we can’t continue this way. I also see opportunity in the moving sector
So sorry for that bad experience...for I love the openness and honesty in your videos. You are very congenial and a great couple! You are right! Once they were that late and turned up with such a dirty equipment, you should have said bye! ...But you accept the blame, and that is so mature and kind!!😊 Keep setting the pace for us!!
Honestly, I am surprised you got a moving company in Ghana. Growing up there were no movers. You figured out moving by relying on friends and family and perhaps renting a truck!
That's a business opportunity right there, having a western style of moving company, probably would be the first of its kind in ghana, and people will patronize, who wants a dirty truck. Always on time, that's your que guys, start a moving company
Very sorry about this disgraceful incident. In Ghana services are delivered before payments are made. INever pay for anything before jobs done. Once you are the payee, you have all the options to decide and dictate how and when your job should be carried out.
With regards to your mattress issues during transportation and I mean the dirty mattress calls for you to maybe tell your American pals to set up a removal business here in Ghana.
Thank you so much for watching! We truly appreciate your support! Yes ma’am, I received your email and responded. Please let me know if you don’t have it.
The thing is, I knew that, but in hindsight, we still should have refused the service. Perhaps losing out on money will cause them to step up. I never would have accepted this in the states, but I have been giving Ghana a pass and it’s not helping
Bible study be anxious for nothing in Ghana but with prayers and supplication make your request known before YAH, what I learned is as long as you dish out money people especially Ghana are so nice, no money no service. Please just left there but I wanted to meet up with you people next time 😢sorry about your dupe we were too 😢
You have been scammed because you are African American .And you can not speak the language I don’t take no nonsense with any of them if we agree a price then that’s the price. First came to Ghana in 1978 Been living in Ghana for 6 months to get away from UK winter. I have learned to be tough and fair with the community.
I completely agree! I will admit, since moving here, I have been a bit passive on my normal expectations, but no more. I never would have accepted this in the states.
👉🏾This flaws in MOVING HOUSE in Ghana is also a big business opportunity for those who knows how to do it properly. Great content 👍🏽

I will say you both are handling this situation very well and I am sorry that all of this happened to your things.

First I thought, oh removal service in GH, it turned out not the sort of removal service I expecting lol.
Good customer service always goes along way.

Ghana is not none for cleanliness or being on time

Could you please look at investing in the sector and raise the bar.
I have a transportation background so I’m definitely thinking about just that. Thank you

You guys should have refused;;moving with that particular truck

If an African tell you he or she will come by 1pm then be expecting the person by 4pm. We call it Africa time.
LOL!!! Well noted
