  • This is a typical CB radio that I bring into restore. All these old CBs are a good 35-45 years old and need some work. See the results from my testing on the bench, this CB still has excellent RX sensitivity 73s Bruce

    Update: I had to move that Expo 100 kit from the rear of the radio to the tone control location. The heat from the finals and transformer would cause the kit to heat up and drift over time, no good so this is why the Expo kits should be mounted up front, away from the heat. This means I put the tone knob on the back of the radio, so it still works.
