Christine Lakin, the "Nottie" in this film, also played AL Lambert in the sitcom 'Step By Step', which first premiered in 1991 - when she was just 12 years old. She was such a beautiful little girl back then. She also grew up absolutely beautiful and charming. Now in 2023, almost 45 years old.... She's STILL absolutely gorgeous!
I remember looking up where Christine L was over ten years ago and bam….Paris Hilton and Christine Lakin interview comes up talking about this movie. Finally I’m watching it lol.
Same it was actually decent and I’d rate it between 5-6/10, now I realize the ratings on IMDb were just incredibly biased bc of peoples weird hatred for Paris Hilton
Paris is 💯 all-natural true lady! She has only ever used Bella k-tip hair extensions & Queen’s Beauty Lenses (Solitaire Natural Color- Blue) to enhance her eye color.
@@chrisstewart9191 I was ONLY a commenting on her beauty which is how she originally became famous. If I were to comment on her narcissistic personality traits & ALL her dirty little secrets, I would be reported for bullying/harassment 😂
I thought she did a good job seeing as she doesn't act FOR A LIVING AND CONTINUOUSLY DO IT. She did a good job at showing friendship at it's best! Cliche, yes... but not so bad!
I love Paris I’m not sure why all the hate for her she seems to be a genuinely nice gal but fugly broads hate skinny blondes and add rich the girl can’t get a break! And yes I’d love to spend a nite in Paris :-)
This movie brought me a lot of memories. As a young girl in 2nd grade, I was bullied because I came from another country (Colombia) and I wasn't very attractive. But this really pretty white girl befriended me and I never knew why until later in that school year. We were known as the "beauty and the beast." It turned out that I was her "ugly" friend which made her look even prettier. And she used me to play mean games that at first appeared innocent, but they weren't, as they ended up humiliating me one way or another. But you know, everything in life gets paid back, one way or another. When I was a teenager, I walked into our neighborhood store, and I came face to face with one of the mean and bullie boys that used to tease me to no end; he was the one that gave us that "beauty and the beast" title. His eyes said it all. He recognized me, but his tongue fell out of his mouth. Lol. Yes, I had blossomed into a pretty nice looking girl. I came to find out that that "pretty" girl wasn't pretty anymore. She had gotten pretty used up by all the guys, and had gotten pregnant and was a user of substances, and of course, her looks went down hill too. I actually felt bad for the girl.
All of the characters were very endearing. No violence, no gore, just a clever story showing great core values in young people. The movie was fun to watch & it had lots of humor (great writing)!
Paris is a true lady who can do anything she sets her mind to! 💯 all-natural beauty which is so rare. She has ONLY ever used Bella k-tip hair extensions & Queen’s Beauty Lenses (Solitaire Natural Color- Blue). Much respect!❤
Wow, what a good movie. I remember hearing Paris wasn't a great actor but I thought she did a pretty good job! Ik this movie was cliche in itself, like when the girl takes off her glasses and pulls her hair down, kinda like, "she's all that!" But it's really good, thanks for the upload!
If you liked this you’d love “A Night in Paris” . Her acting in it is primo …it’s almost like she doesn’t even have to put much effort into it …you know, like performing comes natural to her.
Never heard of this movie but it's a great one. Movies like this always make my house dusty...or peeling invisible onions right in front my eyes. Cough, any way as we know time is precious... so long story short this is not a complete waste of time. Good lesson.many blessings and praise the lord and creator.
I finally saw this movie, though I had briefly viewed the poster and movie name before but never really watched it until now. A great piece for a romcom. My profound salut to all actors in this HotNot.
A great film, laughs and sadness what's not to like! Even Ms Hilton did a good job I thought, and the transformation of June was pretty good too! Glad she got her guy and vice versa!
I love the movie, I wish I watched the movie in 2008, the movie has low rating but I don't care I love the movie, I laughed so hard and I love the ending.
Wow! Didn't know that the nottie was Christine Lakin until over an hour into the movie when she got fixed up by the dentist. I did know she was actually quite attractive though. She was the tomboy daughter in Step by Step, with Suzanne Summers. Always liked that show and watch reruns of it if a channel I have runs them. Anyway, enjoyed this movie a lot. Paris was a sweetie too.
Cody was pretty funny on the show - Funny guy/show, a favorite sitcom of mine. Love Suzanne Summers & liked just about everybody. You're right, her name was Al. Hadn't thought of that... She's even prettier all growed-up in this movie after the makeover. @@jerramaurice7836

Paris Hilton is Barbie. She does fairy tales too, like this movie! I just can't figure how anyone can be such a talented person and so lucky in life too?
HILARIOUS! This is TRUE ENTERTAINMENT! The Hottie and the Nottie did what no movie since Happy Gilmore did in 1996 during the fight scene with Bob Barker. I laughed SO HARD I could NOT breathe anymore during two scenes of The Hottie and the Nottie. I won't tell you which two those were, because I don't want to spoil this movie for you. But, both of the scenes involve Cole Slawson running away - so you know what I'm talking about if you've already seen it. :) Also, "Entertainment" is not just about "Laughing." Any time a movie can force you to make faces of disgust and say, "EWWW!!!" it means the movie is successfully providing "Entertainment."
Great movie! Altough Paris Hilton as the hottie is very pretty,Christine Lakin as the Nottie would be my choice as the kind of woman i would like to say is insanely gorgeous. I noticed that all the special make up techniques to make her look awfull and ugly couldn't hide her natural beauty.. Very nice movie over all, lots of laughter and some valuable lessons learned and to be learned.

Paris actually isn’t a bad actress. I mean she’s obviously not Merl Streep but she definitely holds her own.
Agreed

Say what you will about Paris but I think she's under rated as an actress. Funny story line and great supporting acting.
How many actors seriously struggled & failed to hit the big time in their acting careers, then along comes Paris Hilton, I'll say no more.
And yet, she wasn't terrible, even with a pedantic script.
