This is the very first my chemical romance song I ever listened to. For a lot of people, it was wttbp, or teenagers but for me it was this.

When this album came out I was 13 and my dad died a year later from a terminal illness and this album got me through alot of sad times. It taught me that life matters, but death is a part of life and how to cope with it. Thank you I am one person you guys helped alot. Even though you won't see this. Again thank you

For me, I live my Grandmas, and if they heard this. They'd blink confused and shrug. Because I have a wide variety of music I listen to, this is just another set of songs to the list. With that said. My emo phase wasn't that so much as my bipolar depression cause me issues. I'm on meds now so I'm a lot happier. So I guess I can say I both skipped and didn't skip my emo phase? I certain didn't choose to act all emo.
