  • These are a few tips I find helpful when making new journeys, which can be incredibly overwhelming for someone with an ASD. Hopefully, they are useful to others with Autism or if you know someone with Autism.

I ALWAYS use google maps and check the bus stops or train station location - I STILL end up making mistakes though the first ever time 😂

your welcome, i think you brave, puuting yourself out there on doing these videos :) hmm, how you got to your diagnosis? because I don't think people are listening to me only my mum a lil bit :/... I have a therapist but for depression but i feel that I have aspergers I've been doing a lot of research and feel strongly that I have symptoms/signs. And I'd like to know more in general about other aspie aspects effect your life? and Thanks! :D

+Jemma Pinnington I was actually in the same position a couple of years back, I had seen a lot of therapists for depression and self harm, lots of CBT, which didn't work due to my lack of communication skills and not being able to identify my feelings and pick one and then bring it across in words for them to understand me. I eventually came across one therapist who saw the signs immediately and referred me to a specialist. I have had the signs all my life, all my family new I was different but didn't no what and then everything made sense once I got diagnosed. I think if more people are aware of Aspergers then more people can identify the signs and maybe get diagnosed earlier to receive the help they need, that's my reason for being brave, I wished I got the help as a child, I would have had a lot less hurt :) but seriously, you should see the bloopers it takes me soooo long to do these videos because I slip up with speech or can't think of certain words ...
