Please make a video on Third Party Inspections and certificates. Documents that needs to be maintained for HSE guys and safety regulations regarding lifting gears and the cranes.

Thanks for watching. You may find this video a bit more informative on this subject. ruclips.net/video/Tn8OiY0PM2o/видео.html, but we can make a video addressing the specific documentation that needs to be maintained. Added to the list!

Since the Below The Hook devices were mentioned, IS IT NOT ACCEPTABLE to use a self fabricated (homemade) Spreader or Lifting Beam because of the lack of an Identification Tag?
I've moticed on these videos, all overhead cranes seemed to have 2 Sheaves or 4 Part Lines at the Crane's Hook. Doesn't this have to be increased on the higher capacity Cranes such as 50 or 60 Ton Capacity Units?
Is that controlled by the Horsepower of the Electric Motor? Maybe I worked on the old Cable Tool Drill Rigs too long.

      Hi Bruce,
You are correct, sir. It is NOT acceptable to use a self fabricated spreader or lifting beam according to OSHA and ASME. It must have the appropriate tagging and be engineered according to the specific standards of ASME B30-1 and ASME B30.20.
We have a video explaining Homemade vs Custom Engineered Devices from an accredited 3rd party here:

As well as several videos explaining more about the standards and reasons why purchasing from an accredited 3rd party is your safest option.

Hello. In the company we only use the synthetic web sling manufactured by mazzella, if in a lifting maneuver the nameplate deteriorates, I must remove the sling being that we only use mazzella eet or eef web sling ..? Thanks

      Thanks for your question!
If the tag of the synthetic web slings becomes illegible the sling must be permanently removed from service. This is per ASME B30.9 requirements and applies to all manufacturers.
      Hope this helps!
