      total war games are awesome. best noob win for me when i first discovered the game was me with 1 roman cohort, 2 cav units (forgot which exactly)
      all already pretty banged up from previous siege defenses, havent had time to reinforce.
      successfully defending vs 600 Gaul. not the best win cos i started playing PvP but certainly the most memorable.

Even more! I wish I could have helped them with preparations. Not to mention wearing all these awesome costumes :D

  • @TheFunnykid33

    0:29 totally reminds me of the last samurai movie haha
    also i think it's pretty interesting that they decided to throw in the double sword technique at the end, it was mentioned a scarce few times and the best reference we have to the technique (or at least that i'm aware of) is in miyamoto musashi's book of five rings, but this book was written in 1645 so there's no way toda shigamasa could be practicing Niten Ichi-ryū

    • @TheFunnykid33
      @TheFunnykid33 10 лет назад

      Sam Archer actually after further research the "dual wielding" katanas was viable but extremely difficult, even for musashi who perfected the art of using 2 swords. generally samurai would fight with their katana and would use a wakizashi as a back up or for when enemies got extremely close

    • @TheFunnykid33
      @TheFunnykid33 10 лет назад

      Sam Archer i meant using the wakizashi and the katana simultaneously

    • @TheFunnykid33
      @TheFunnykid33 10 лет назад

      Sam Archer going by the context of the occasion however, this man was extremely skilled, i'm not trying to argue that everyone used 2 swords for fighting, i'm just saying that it's intriguing and plausible that this man did use 2 in such an event.
