the parents were jet fighters? Maybe one parent. the other was a Scania Truck, obviously. And I say that as a former SAAB 900 owner who loved this car a lot.
Great point! Imagine that household! A truck and a jet fighter :). Thank you for watching and commenting. What color was your 900?
My 900 turbo has 255000km and is purring like a cat🤘
That’s awesome!! What color? Thank you for watching and commenting
Well Saab decided to go into the car manufacturing business, not 1978 but 1947 with the first production model being launched in 1955.
The 2 door Saab 99 Turbo hatchback preceded the 900 and was discontinued as a model after just one year when the 900 hatchback was launched
Hi @kronop8884. You're exactly right! Sorry, my intention was to say that in 1978 they launched the 900. Thank you for watching and helping to clarify the great history of Saab. May have to do a video on the 99 as well :)
The first SAAB 92001 was produced on June 4, 1946 and had a 2-cylinder 2-stroke engine 764cc 25-28 hp (German DKW engine). After minor changes, SAAB 92002 came in May 1947 and SAAB 92003 in June 1947 and were pre-series cars. Series production of the SAAB 92 began in 1949 and was sold as a 1950 model. In 1956, the SAAB 93 came with a self-made 3-cylinder 2-stroke engine 748cc 33 hp. In 1959 the SAAB 95 was presented, a station wagon of the SAAB 96 which came in 1960 841cc 38 hp and was sold until 1964, when the new body with a longer front and some other changes came in 1965-80. In 1966 the same SAAB 95/96 was presented with the German FORD V4 engine on 1.5 l 65hp until 1968 you could get both engines, but after 1968 only with the V4 engine. (US 1.7 l 90 hp)
That’s awesome! A Ford engine! Thank you for watching and the feedback! Such a great history attached to this manufacturer.
Unfortunately, the Federal Exhaust Emission Prohibition Ordinance and Transport Tourism Emission Restriction Ordinance will soon ban the exhaust emissions and transport tourism emissions!
What´s shown in the video as a black SPG is fitted with a Carlsson Air-Flow-Kit. That is not standard on SPG.
Thank you for watching and commenting. It looks so good too doesn’t it?
Die Produktion des Turbo/ SPG ging bis März 1993.
More accurately aircraft maker .... Grand parents !
Thank you for watching and commenting! I'm working on another Saab one that should be out this week!
