I am an educated person and till age of 36 I didn’t knew cows and buffaloes give milk in same manner as humans, like only after getting pregnant. I thought they naturally give milk all life. We are never educated by family or society regarding such evil practices. The day i came to know how cows produce milk, i turned vegan
I follow you from last 6 months and and have decreased consumption of milk and milk based products up to 60 percentage.

Please don't pay double for milk only you can take the old cow from milkman and taking care of them.

@@xentelacropal9900 dear I respect your reply but I don't I do not have place in my house for that. Most of the people who do not live in village, do not have place for domestic animals. We can go to dairy and spent time to help them, may be 1 hour a day or 2 hours a week.

@@rajeshsogun2953 Yes sure, but I am afraid the for generations we are consuming animal milk and switch totally to plant based milk will effect our body and we do not know the affects, how will it effect us after years of consumptions.
So switch but slowly.
Take care of animals from which you want to consume milk. Be sure nobody is harming them in any way.
1. No regular inseminations
2. No killing of calves.
3. Clean environment.
4. Naturally bread them by their own.
5. If you want milk, ready to may more.

Come to my home ,my parents are keeping cows around 10 to 12 cows.we always keep old cows till their natural death. We keep cows under fan,we apply all out to keep mosquito away. We always give our first dose of food to cow ,in my home cow gets morning Tea ,we cover cow by blanket in winter. Yes it is difficult to maintain all their work but easy than wasting time in mobile. I always remember Mahatma Gandhi quote there are sufficient resources in Earth for everyone need ,but never for greed.

Habit of consuming milk is the real cause of animal suffering, if anybody who is really want to do something, he/she should stop consuming milk and milk product and spread the awareness.

I don't think milk consumption is the cause
Today people are using minimum milk product eg: instead of ghee they are using refined( which is harmful for health) if ghee consumption increase then milk production will increase and farmer will try to keep more cow in their shed and as Robin sir said cow dung and urine are not usable in today's time because of poisonous spray.
And that dairy owner said lack of space
The space is lacking because of useless industries and factory.

Very informative. I did not know the process of milk production. So cows are not slaughtered but are torchered by kept being pregnant till they can to produce milk for our consumption and eventually ..... slaughtered. Sad to know how diary business runs.

एक और समस्या है हमारे देश में खासकर शहर में जगह की कमी के कारण गाय छोटी सी एक ही जगह पर खूँटी में बंधे रहते हैं और उनकी सारी जीवन बीत जाती है l दूसरे देशों में उन्हें बड़े बड़े फार्मों में पाला जाता है जहाँ उन्हें उचित जगह मिलती है l इससे वो थोरा खुश महसूस करती हैं और दूध भी ज्यादा देती है l मगर अंत में सभी का वही हाल होता है कम खत्म बात खत्म l कम से कम इसमें कुछ नियम होने चाहिए की उन्हें उचित जगह मिले घूमने फिरने के लिए l और यदि किसी जानवर को दूध देने के लिए पाला जा रहा है तो उनकी हत्या न हो l और जिसे मांस के लिए पाला जा रहा हो उन्हें निर्दयता पूर्वक न मारा जाए l उनका भी समय निर्धारित किया जाय l मेरे ख्याल से शाम के बाद उन्हें नहीं मारा जाय l फिर हम लोग कहेंगे उन्हें मारे ही क्यों l मगर अफसोस आप पूरी दुनियाँ को न समझा सकते हो और न लड़ सकते हो l

I have seen and verified a rare 'clean' cow dairy that sells milk 100/L that too after recieving part of their diet based on vegetable extras. I will try to contact and give you their contact
Carefull. I watched a documentary named seaspiracy, many companies who "varify" something to be "green" are actually fraud. They give the company a verified sign for money OR it is very difficult to check all the time that the product is green. Just be careful. Don't think the product is ok just because it has a varified label

सर मेरे घर में यह कहा जाता है कि हमारे दूध ना पीने से इन जानवरों की स्थिति में, जो गाय भैंस काट दिए जाते हैं, उनमें सुधार होगा? अगर दूध ना लिया जाए तो वह डेयरी उद्योग में न जाकर डायरेक्ट कसाई खाने में जाने के लिए पैदा व पाली जाएंगी ,क्या गाय व अन्य जानवर के दूध का त्याग करने से वे कटना बंद हो जाएंगे? दूध के लालच में गाय भैंस वगैरह को लोग पाल रहे हैं अगर दूध ही लेना बंद कर देंगे तो इन्हें लोग पालना भी बंद कर देंगे और उनकी शाकाहारी लोग वैल्यू भी कम करेंगे और वह केवल मांस के एक संसाधन ही रह जाएंगे कृपया इस पर अपना राय दें ???????????????🙏

I m also a dairy farmer ,but never sell my old cows or calfs ,because if the cow which was taking care of family economy in her productive life.,is to be cared in her oldage.....but insense i can say cow or any animal is never use less they are the only key to feed the soil....to produce the best organic food for human...

It is very thoughtful that you have brought this problem to the people. When people are aware and discuss the issue, a solution might come.
I think government has a big role to play. In some cities, big gaushalas are there for which land and some financial help is provided by government/local municipal bodies. They are also aided by charity and daan by common people. Some income is generated from milk, biofertilizer, biogas etc plus it generates employment.
There might be more ideas to mitigate the problem.

I have been using dairy products all of my 28 years of life but now im trying to shift to vegan diet. Its not easy but im determined. I don't want to contribute to this cruelty business and mindset. I just wish more people could understand their sufferings... most people just laugh and they don't feel any empathy or sympathy for these voiceless creatures.

The price of the milk should be increased so that it includes the cost of dry and old cows as well. But we humans are so selfish and just concerned about our needs only.
Even if price’s of milk increases I guarantee that it wouldn’t satisfy humans greed
If we insist our government to create a norm that every dairy has to setup a gobar gas plant, then every cow or bull will contribute in economy and also their life can be saved.
