HI, I just come across your wonderful videos, have to say your are a star in the making, if you don't get noticed by mainstream TV there's no justice, one of the best history presenters I have seen on RUclips. Having recently been on holiday to beautiful Yorkshire, (which is why I checked out your videos), I paid a visit to Middleham castle home of Richard lll and Marston Moor battle field. Keep up the great work.

Such a well-presented and interesting piece. Well done, I’ve subscribed.
I wonder if any historical artefacts have being unearthed by the building of the new road network?

It’s interesting to see how the English Civil War affected Yorkshire. I covered 17th Century Britain in A-Level, and it was one of the most interesting periods because of its affect on British history to this day, and how radical it was with ideas such as republicanism, communism (Levellers and Diggers), and how new congregations from dissenters, like Quakers and Baptists were all found from this short period in history. The most confusing I remember learning was all the different Church congregations (like Presbyterian, Anglican, Arminian, etc) due to the religious context of the society and war itself though I got my brain around eventually 😅 😂
