Understanding the huge difference of time that you studied in and connecting with what I went through in my college and then picturing myself to where I am today doing a god damn bioengineering program. thanks Manish , for reminding us all what happened at that night. Being day scholar we missed all the thrill and excitement of hostel life. First Year Electrical paper , slide up , I got shifted from Metallurgy to Electrical , great days
Why is Metallurgy such a demoted branch? One of my friends did metallurgy and is now minting money in gulf...another refused to go to gulf and now big boss in Bhilai Steel Plant...

Being an engineering student, sir we can feel the words u said. Me and one of my friend got expelled from hostel just for breaking the lock that was put in the canteen.. actually we went to find aid for a friend who was severely ill. But as it is...we were expelled. Now I m in 4th year...staying outside the hostel.🤣

Similar to my story barring expelling from hostel, I myself left it, but other things like hostel vs others fights, police, mass ragging etc were similar incidents।

Ragging is good if you are strong enough to survive and adopt.
You get everlasting memories some bad some good. You get use to dealing tough situations under weird conditions. And creativity sprouts.
This is my personal opinion. I've been to hostel for 5 years one year in Bokaro, Jharkhand. And yeah north Indian people are kinda like crazy I like them😂

I am an engineering student
And had a same story just this one of yours.
In my first year i was expelled from the hostel . It was bcoz somehow my name was in the list of students which were protesting against the clg timing . Although i was not there , but i got to know that someone has given my name to save himself . And the clg facility offered me to tell someone's name instead of punishment . But as i was not there ....
But i realized that whatever happens was good for me .
