if john doesn't look like he knows what he's doing, he doesn't. he learned how to play drums JUST for this, & he learned in one day making it even more incredible.
The cast iron period of Skillet was from 1996-2001.the teflon period was from 2002 until present. In that time Skillet had the first drummer, Trey McClurken, who played on albums, Skillet, to, Hey you I love your soul, to, Invincible. He did truly great work on them. I bring this up because Skillet has always had some good talent. Some of its members can play different instruments. John would even sometimes play keyboard and he also knows how to play trombone. Unfortunately, there has never been trombone playing on any Skillet album. ruclips.net/video/DRBYPebCtHw/видео.html
The man is pure talent! He can just about do it all.. of course he doesn't have swag like Jen does back there but who does lol!? I couldn't watch a whole show where switched I would miss her too much
I’m just like: JOHN WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?! then I see jen singing and I’m like: JEN WTH R U DOING?! Then I hear singing a ledger song: oh that makes sense. (Not)
Jen Ledger... is Ledger. This is her song. John is the drummer for it in this video. He is the guitarist for it in the official music video. Watch it and you'll understand better
I agree with you but man, this one is great and is a Ledger song, not a Skillet one (although they played it here). Either way, I think Dominion is generic, not this
Trying different influences into the music. Im a fan of their cast iron period, 1996-2001. I consider anything like this or beyond to be a part of their teflon period. And musically, jen ledger doesn't work for me
Imagine if John and Jen switched for a full show

John don't give up you day job Lol
Now that don't look right
Why did their music get so painfully generic
