This is a great method to keep preferred fonts. Is there a way to keep the quality? When I stretch the text (image) it becomes blurred and when using Image upscaler, it returns to its original size?
I dont think there is. But this actually happens even in Illustrator or Photoshop. Quality suffers wheenever you stretch text. you could try exporting the text with transparent BG, then reupload it and crank up the sharpness. This could help to get at least a bit better of a result.
Not sure why, but I've followed all of the steps ON BOTH YOUR STRETCH VIDEOS (and both with and without canva pro) and my "download then upload" always come back in to canva as an "edit image" and never as "edit photo"... even my photos are "edit image" i have yet to see an "edit photo" really wanted this to work.. so if you can tell me why this is happening that would be great... :D
I will need to test this again. There's a chance that Canva actually adjusted something and that this workaround is not working anymore. I will double-check it and will let you know. Until very recently, this workaround definitely still worked, as many people pointed out in the comments of this video. Have a lovely day.
"here's how to stretch text in canva. Step one open canva. Step two now take it out of canva and use a different website. Bruh, that's just turning the text into and image which can be stretched
Man you have no idea how much you just help with this video THX
Thanks for watching!

Way too complicated. Canva is great but there is a lot of room for improvement. Thank you for positing this!
I agree, this should be MUCH easier!
it does not work

well, it's the only way it can be done. Unfortunately. Hope this will change soon.
