I lost our Rite Aid a couple years ago and I literally wanted to cry. Some of the best deals I have done were at Rite Aid. I remember all the free light bulbs and stayfree pads. I always got great deals on Dixie plates and rolling rewards with very little oop. Black Friday used to be the best there, I loved getting all the loofahs. Thanks for the walk down memory lane RK. 😊

Rite aid is closing all stores near me in OH 😢 employees said they wb getting severance if stay through closing- their liquidation will start 7/3 & close 8/18.

My local Rite Aid clothes near me and several other of their locations...in PA. I GOT 50-75% off when they were closing! The closest one is now 20 min away.
Omg. I am so sorry. The closest rite aid to me is 30 min away so I was never able to get those deals. I was so happy for everyone who could. I can’t imagine losing your favorite store. I really think it’s the shoplifting in other places. When people go into stores with big, black garbage bags and steal everything on the shelves, stores can’t survive that for long. Even if it didn’t happen in your area, stores loosing money like that means huge changes somehow. I worry more brand will close stores and we’ll only be left with Amazon and Walmart. It’s the end of an era.
Oml it’s happening I get a feeling my is heading the same way. I get my prescription from there n I’m running to having to wait for them to wait because they are out of stock. The store looks more empty compared to last yr.

A few months back when they did that wave of closures, my friend told me that the last week they gave you a bag and you can fill it up to the top with whatever you want as long as it fit and you'd only pay $5. Of course he only told me this AFTER so i missed out
Three stores here closed in last 5 years and that never happened. They have shipping containers now so guessing all inventory will be place inside and auctioned off! So sad 😞

There was a Rite Aid in my city about 20 or so years ago. It closed so I never really got a chance to coupon there.

I used to coupon at Rite Aid but stopped many years ago. I have one left in my area of California. Two CVS have closed by me as well. I was extremely upset to learn all The 99 Cents Only stores unexpectedly. It just seems like it’s going to get worse imo.

I may be aging myself but I'm ok with it. I live here in Michigan also I remember when Rite Aid was first Cunningham Drugs then Perry Drugs then Rite Aid. I really hate they are closing I have one at my corner and another about 10 mins away that I frequent. I remember hearing a few years back about a Walgreens acquisition I wonder what happened with that.
Walgreens was only allowed to acquire like 20% of stores, so that was a small amount back in 2018
