Yea - its nice and big!! 😄 Esme is all ready for winter and spends her evening right now sleeping on the deck in the cold nights. She loves this time of year!

Hi Michael and Esmi. That looks very roomy. I hope it keeps in the heat well too. How do you keep the heat from the stove from melting the ice underneath it? Do you put extra fireproof material? I don't think it would be warm enough for me being that your on ice. I have no clue about these things, as you can tell. Stay bundled up and don't forget to bring plenty of blankets. I know you'll have fun.
Hi Alice - You are right that ice melt can be troublesome. I use a fire blanket below the stove to keep the heat off - and sometimes need some logs underneath to support the stove. Its very cosy when its all setup with the stove going 😊

I'm kind of surprised you didn't get something with a walk-through door. Have you tried a diesel heater yet?
I would have preferred a walk through door - But to get a double thats insulated with the a wide bottom, the pickings are slim. 🤔
