Pretty amazing, just discovered it. Watching lots of videos. Yours are very good because you go deeper into developing a functioning app and provide a lot of insight on how to create the prompts and do a lot in very few msgs. I am going to work on this technique.
Thank you for the information. I think for most of us, won't build a CMS bottom Up, but it will be great if you can show us how to build tools we can add into our current sites that will attract traffic (i.e. visitors) will be very nice. For example, you are a runner, if you have a runner site, you build a tool that people can search races by locations, their experience level etc.
You're welcome! That's a good idea about creating embedded tools/widgets to existing sites to drive more traffic. What kind of site do you think would be good to build this kind of tool on? i.e. squarespace, custom nextjs/react site, etc.?
You should try doing videos in replit agent it has a big active community and most of us get stuck when it comes to doing the things your doing here, love the video
Thank you bro! Glad you enjoyed the video. I've heard great things about Replit, but I've also heard it's quite buggy. Maybe I will see what it's all about! Are there any topics/issues in Replit that you feel needs to be covered more?
Very cool, thanks for doing the follow up, though a recording of it would have been a bonus :) Was it a CORS issue and did Lovable provide the solution?
You're very welcome! I wanted to record the follow up, but had to blaze through it as I'd already exceeded my "dev time" quota for New Year's Eve (wife breathing down my neck) 😆 I initially thought it was a CORS issue, but after discussing with Lovable - it seems like there was an issue in satisfying some RLS policies, which caused some queries to time out. So the solution was to get the policies to pass, and add proper timeouts + error handling to the queries so they can handle issues gracefully. Since you mentioned CORS - are you a developer? 😄
@@JeremyDevz yes, 40+ years, typically in AWS backend services, C#, sql, python, angular, etc. A Cursor fan, but this whole AI lovable, supabase is some exciting stuff. I have a passion to learn, so this is my newest interest.
Wow, 40+ years! Your passion to learn is a testament to your longevity in this space 🙌🏽 My background is a bit similar to yours - Java (Spring), SQL, AngularJS. Nice to see another strong backend dev around here! 💪🏽
Glad you enjoyed the video! I appreciate the kind words. I don't have any kind of donation links set up yet - but surely a like, comment, subscribe, and/or share would help the channel out a lot! Curious - what are the common methods to setting up a donation link that you see other channels doing? i.e. YT super chats/super thanks, buy me a coffee, etc.?
@@JeremyDevz paypal or venmo I see people just saying in their video I'm doing a fund raiser and people donate. The big donation channels are the weather storm chasers some of those channels take in thousands of dollars. People love the help. Thanks
How are we liking Lovable.dev so far?!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! I appreciate it. Lovable is amazing tech indeed - happy building, and let me know how it goes 🤙🏽 👨🏽💻

This information is impressive. Where is the donation link so we can donate to keep this info coming?
