GT1 on Japan handling was like GT2 in all of its releases, while on USA and PAL versions of GT1 handling was more arcade and not the good type of arcade handling. The cars are also very prone to get stuck with the turbo lag. Turbo and RWD cars were so messed up on those two versions...

Yeah we got shit on with the North America version. I got the Japanese version first and was disappointed by the western release.

the western release is its own charm... but nothing like the JP soundtrack. makes me want to see about finding a JP copy
