Thanks! It's a very interesting place! It's a Norman (French) castle, built on an Arab (Berber) foundation, with Spanish accents!

Did I miss it? When was the castle built? When was the baroness killed?

The castle was built by the Normans on ruins left by the Berbers between 1075-1090, Laura and her husband didn't move in until they were married in 1543, and she was killed in 1563. Thanks for reminding me that there are date driven folks out there!
