- A wild HappyDragonite appears…but festive. Happy-almost-Christmas, Dragoknights! Jeez, time flies doesn’t it? I feel like an entire month has gone by and I’ve just woken up or something. Well, here we are, and here is my annual Christmas-special-PokéTunes-thing! I mean I never go overboard with jingle bells or whatnot, but this year I thought I’d try something a little more chill. Thus, Dragonspiral Tower. I’ve always loved the song, both in Celestial Tower and Dragonspiral Tower. The melody is so beautiful, and it always struck me as being oddly pretty considering one of the places it plays at is owned by dead Pokémon (morbid much?) and the other is this epic tower that leads up to you getting a glimpse at a huge dragon-bro that you’ll need to arm-wrestle later. And then that piano tinkles in, and the song dwindles away. Also there’s snow around Dragonspiral Tower so it’s Wintery and nobody can tell me different! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the song, Dragoknights, and if you are celebrating Christmas or anything else I hope you have a fantastic one. See you all again real soon with a brand new PokéTunes! Q: Download links?
A: Unfortunately due to a computer upgrade I parted ways with all my files before mid-Summer 2014, but I am in the process of uploading those tracks presently, and from this point on (mid-December 2015) DOWNLOAD LINKS ARE BACK.
Q: You used my art in one of your videos, can I have credit?
A: For anything pre Autumn 2014 send me an email at HappyZoroark [at] gmail.com with the video title in the subject line, or art, and I will add a link for you in said video as soon as I can. As of September 2014 there will always be a link so you should have no reason to worry about credit unless it’s a bum link, or you (the artist in particular) would like a different link to be used, in which case you can email me. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: What do you use to produce your music?
A: High quality samples a la Kontakt 5, my wits, and Logic Pro 9. For video editing I use iMovie 9 (because the new one is impossible to figure out because I’m old and I don’t know how new fangled things work), and for image editing I use Pixelmator, which is a fantastic image editor for Mac, and doesn’t cost a bajillion dollars like Photoshop.
Q: Can I use your music in a video / monetized video?
A: Absolutely. You don’t even need to ask my permission, just add a link to my channel in the description of your video and it’s all good. No need to make it all complicated. Go right ahead. If you want some attention too, feel free to mention me on Twitter @HappyDragonite, and I’ll check your video out!
Q: How can I help support your channel ie. donations?
A: I don’t accept donations at this time, but watching my videos (liking etc.) helps. If you have adblock on, if you turned it off to watch the videos of the people you watch on RUclips (or whitelist RUclips!) that would be super cool, because that’s sort-of completely how I can afford to keep uploading videos instead of working retail, or running an international Rare Candy cartel. RUclips Red is also now a thing, so if you don’t like ads and want to support your favourite creators that is available!

it's been said a thousand times, so I'll keep it short, I love everything on your channel, especially the mystery dungeon, gen 3, 4 and 5 stuff. Those generations and games were the ones I played at the highest point of my love for pokemon, and hearing these beautifully reorchestrated tracks brings back all the nostalgia from that time. I've almost entirely quit playing the games, besides the mystery dungeon games, and very rarely picking up the main series games (giving white a run right now) but I still love Pokemon, and will continue to love it. It was the first big game series I was really invested in, and will always hold a special place in my memories.

I'm surprised your haven't made the soundtrack to a game yet honestly. Or made an entire album by yourself.
+Poke Crack I've been offered jobs before, but they either weren't the right fit or the devs weren't willing to pay me a living wage. An album would be difficult because it would require a lot of financial backing for studio time and mastering, and I'm not in a place where I would be able to get that backing, nor would I be able to cover the costs myself. Someday I might release an EP, but again, I would need to invest in equipment to record, and I (imagine) that I would need to hire players, whom I would want to pay a fair wage for their work.
TL;DR would if I could, but I'm just not in a place where any of that is really possible right now. (I know it wasn't really a question, therefore my answer is sorta unasked for, but I really appreciate that you would be into the concept of any of this-that support means a lot.)
HappyDragonite well if you release anything of your own I'll be listening to it. Also why don't you put your music on Spotify or something? (Another note: I personally love more ambient or melancholic reorchestrations, just an opinion)
