Oh yeah, definitely a sweet spot…made a brief stop there a couple years ago but I think the fall is the ideal time for sure…lots of wildlife in the canyon, lots of trout in the river and lots of stars in the night sky…your meatloaf sandwich looked amazing as well!

It's always too hot in the summer I think, and really cold in the winter so I do think I chose the perfect time. Thanks for watching and commenting I always appreciate it

WOW Even the highways are beautiful in Washington, I love the cold and outdoors perfect setup! You mentioned the fresh smells, one thing I always noticed going from city to deep woods far away from city was the cities smell so bad, almost like a rotting smell, going to the woods is so nice...makes you wonder why it smells rotting lol
man sitting back fall colors looking at the train so nice.
    Thanks Dan awesome video
(ps the meat loaf dinner sandwich looks fricken awesome 👍 lol)

Fall autumn colors, a Beautiful Canyon walk, and a chilly frosty morning. It doesn't get better than that. That Beaver Dam crossing was a little scary. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Thanks Larry. I wanted to camp in that spot for several years, it looked perfect to me. I got lucky. Good to hear from you as always. Thanks for watching. PS. That was only about 15 miles north of Yakima

Thank you for the vid. That is a beautiful area, the whole canyon from Ellensburg down to Yakima is gorgeous and that trail in particular with the bridge is really nice.

Yes it is. My wife and I actually went back and spent the night so we could explore the canyon some more. Glad you liked the video, thanks for watching and commenting, I always appreciate it.

Very beautiful spot you picked to camp at. That bridge over the river looks like a fun spot to watch the river flowing down. Nice capture on the game camera, I need to start doing that too.

@scottalpine Yes, it is a beautiful area and I did have some quality time on that bridge. Keep thinking I need to start fishing again. Thanks for your support!

5:45 Rubber Rabbit Brush, the Fluffy things on the top (flowers) turn gold in late summer and contain a gazillion seeds. Hit the flowers with your walking stick and they go everywhere!
