@@JayFofandi The real reason for this stampede was that when the program had finished , some of them wanted soil of so called religious guru' s feet . And I can't imagine how foolish are the people to do race for getting nonsense things. And the another reason was the paying capacity of that place was only less than the people presented there .

Firstly, they are aware people, and attend any ritual knowingly.
Second, Many of them are more educated than you, many educated people also do religious things.
Thirdly, India's population is going to decline in three to four years. Now it is static e.g., one person born on the death of another one.

religious fanatics people are mostly unaware of every set of rules and regulations, the incident is tragic and my condolences to those victims but this type of event is not surprising at all, especially in our country.

I am from hathras.Most of the people were villagers especially from sc st caste( I know I should not mention this) all were uneducated. Mostly there were children and women.After the incident people still are not blaming that baba.

India's biggest problem is its poor population management. If we could effectively manage the population, many of our current issues might not exist.
I recently visited Vrindavan and Barsana, the management of those temples is poor . There were no proper corridors or line system . Everybody was just rushing. It was suffocating. I could not visit other temples due to this reason. I hope management gets better there 🙏

I always witness a chaotic scene every year when there is heavy traffic on the nearby road. A large crowd gathered here without any control, and there was a terrible incident on the Agra-Aligarh road in 2020 due to the massive traffic jam.

भय मित्र भय, ये लोग भगवान के लिए नही अपनी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए जाते है बाबाओ के पास, जैसे ओशो कहता था, भगवान को बस एक साधन बना रखा है अपनी भौतिक इच्छाओं की प्राप्ति के लिए। यदि असली में भगवान चाहिए होता तो अपने शरीर पे काम करते, स्वांस और बॉडी पोस्चर सही करते और योगा करते, और भक्ति के लिए पेड़ पौधों को पालने में ध्यान देते। वैसे मै उन्हें नीचा नही दिखाना चाह रहा, उनकी मृत्यु के लिए मुझे दुख है, बस चाहता हु की जन को अनुभूति हो की भक्ति का एकमात्र मार्ग स्वय का स्वास्थय और पेड़ पौधों को देखभाल में है।

Putting on my technical hat, the number of mobile phones connecting to the phone towers is the easiest way to gauge the crowd, these days! Check for anomalous patterns and you can easily trigger safety warning messages to these people. I think it's a pretty cheap (almost at no expense) and highly effective way to implement this! If the crowd doesn't disperse (i.e. number of phones connected to a cell tower doesn't reduce), the next alert should go to law enforcement, who should be trained to disperse the traffic based on standard operating procedures. All of this brings awareness, audit trail and accountability to whose fault it is. Aside, I respect all spiritual leaders (genuine ones), but, it's also their responsibility to ensure their devotees' wellbeing. RIP - all those who lost their lives today!

यहा 50,000 लोग संभाल नही जा रहा। हमारे ओडिशा के पूरी श्री जगन्नाथ जी के रथयात्रा में एक ही दिन में 15 लाख लोग आते हैं। मैनेजमेंट इतनी अच्छी होती है की ना कोई भाग दौड़ मचती है ना कोई मौत होती है। सारेवलोग आराम से रथ यात्रा देख के वापस चले जाते हैं। और बाकी दिन में पूरी श्री जगन्नाथ मंदिर में ही हर दिन 40 से 50,000 लोग आते है। सोचो कितना अच्छा मैनेजमेंट होगा, जिसकी वजह से लोग आराम से दर्शन कर के जाते हैं।
