Hello...Im just starting to get into coding, I got accepted into Uni for Computer Science Engineering for the course this year. This video helped me a lot, not only because I was struggling with the basic funcionalities of the Qt Creator (I am not an experienced programmer at all), but also because of that snipped in the end. The beginning of this journey is very exciting, and stumbling across gems like ur acount will make my experience easier too. I wish to be able to subscribe soon when I am less short on money, giving something back for your effort and work. I cant wait to see more from you and learn, coding is a beautifully challenging. Greetings from Spain!
Thanks for upload. Building GUI for my C/C++ pet projects. I tried QT about 7 years ago, but I just didn't quite dig it. Time has come to fix the old mistakes.
My 16 year son asked me about Qt Creator today. He has been using it. I had never heard of it. I used Visual Studio back in the day. Thanks for the video.
Great video..Shame about having music playing in the background whilst doing a coding tutorial..... Music belongs in a music tutorial or musical video or on a record or even elsewhere, but not in a tutorial for coding.... When we're trying to listen to what you are saying the music is interfering with it!!! So can you chill out on the music and keep up with the great teaching without background interference please :)
I've never been more frustrated in my life. Every time I install it and run it the toolbar at the top vanishes. No command keyboard shortcuts have worked, right clicking for view settings does nothing, there is no external settings option to save as, no file menu, toolbar, or anything like that. I have a project due pretty soon so I guess I'm screwed.
Within Qt Designer, can you make an array of Checkboxes? i.e. Drag a checkbox into Designer and tell it this will be number 5 of 10? Or can this only be done via code (i.e. QCheckBox ck[10]; ck[4].setCheckState(1);)
I used Qt forever ago for some Python UI comonents. I was so excited to try out the latest Qt framework and dev something, and the god-awful slow installer and hidden 'Open Source' links to get a working version immediately turned me off to the entire package. Why does a very simple UI framework take up 35GB of disk space and take over an hour to download on gigabit internet? Just terrible. Hope the actual software is better than the setup experience.
Hello, UI designer here (Flash developer in the 2000s). Thanks for the vid. I built a HMI GUI with Nextion's system that controls/receives info from multiple Arduinos. Works great. The UI essentially controls 3 stepper motor drivers, has some animations reflecting the machine state, etc. I'm considering building a new UI that runs on a Raspberry Pi 4 utilizing it's 3.3v GPIO, mainly because I can get a better and larger display running (IPS, more colors, better viewing angle) through this path. How can I build and deploy to a Raspberry Pi 4? Is this where the kits come in? I know Arduino's language decent enough to get around (C++). Does Python need to be used for a Pi app, or can this convert C++ apps to run on a Pi? Thanks again!
Hello, I have a firmware.frm file that I want to edit and I don't know what software to open with, according to the information it brings it was done with a soft QT 4.6 (QT creator opensource) or with JAVA (or JAVA is part of this QT), I could you help please? thank you

Can I integrate qt as an external library in my project instead of using it's ide to build it?
