I love running without music or recorded audio. I spend way too much of my time on a screen or consuming content. Running is my opportunity to unplug and explore my own thoughts. I would never want to disturb my running induced contemplation with noise
No music is tough but you get a better mind-body connection. When you don't have music you tune out the body feeling. Also, I love that the mind just floats and thinks. Nice b role a during the second half of this video, breaks up the talking a bit and makes this video entertaining.
I used to run short fast runs before with music, but now I'm focusing on long slow distances (no music) and personally I feel like running without music really helps with breath control and running basically turns into meditation. The quality of my runs have improved a ton
Good video - keep it up! I was thinking of carrying out my short(er) runs without music (focus on breath, cadence, form etc.) and keep the podcasts/music for the longer runs. Right now I am injured with a plantar fascia issue; If you have any experience with this and healing/caring for it, I would love to hear your opinion. Subscribing and hope to see more and even better videos. All the best from Ireland.
Hey thank you! I have not had too bad of injury experience except when I had been running on the same running shoes for 2+ years. Maybe reduce the weekly miles you are doing? Try different shoes or running surface? That is a good idea with the shorter runs for sure. It is the longer runs where it is really hard to run without anything in my ears. Thank you for the subscribe! I am excited to keep creating videos
I'm used to running without headphones. I tried for some time but I always felt like being isolated from my surroundings. I love how open and free I can feel while running. Recently, I ordered a pair of bone conduction ones. I want to see if the feeling of open head is gonna stay with them or not.
I would love to hear how the bone conduction pair works! I have always been interested in them. I definitely agree, that "open and free" feeling is awesome.
my pace and focus improved so much ever since i stopped listening to music while running
I totally agree! I feel much more in tune with myself when running without music

Really true. I feel like I never am not consuming content now and I really need moments to unplug and just be in silence.

Absolutely! I love being able to zone out and get some miles done
did my first 10K today (very slow, but i did it!) and i did it without music. i LOVE music but no music is the way for runs.
No music is the way! Nice job on the 10k! Slow is the way to go
I'm gonna keep listening to music 👍Great motivation source and you can find ones with the correct step and rhythm rates
Sounds good man glad to hear it!
Hey man, nice video, keep up the hard work making these videos
Thank you! Will do.

I totally agree! The breathing is big for me. I really feel more in control with no music
