@@misterblack6521 Yeah. Recently I bought my 3rd electric. Squier classic vibe 50's. What a peace of art. Great guitar. Yet I still love my budget, lower than entry level Washburn RX-12. It will definitely have its time under crafted fingers of luther. Change of the frets and electronics. I think I will leave stock pickups for now. And eventually change them later to SDs. More excercises = better articualtion. Plain and simple. The biggest pro of having few different guitars is that fingerboards and necks are different.
Honestly I'm more impressed with that Mooer than anything. Absolutely insane how good this setup sounds with just an iphone audio. Once again great playing as well.
Djames Djefferson Yes Sir! Mooer 001 Preamp Pedal is a seriously underrated game changer! Make sure you go into the Amps return only and turn off the cab sim. That’s the best way to get a True Diezel Hagen Tone 🤟🤟🤟
I picked up at 2017 Model this one has the Rosewood Fretboard the newer ones do not, this is a brilliant guitar great quality I had mine setup by tech, there was not much to do, I see you change pups, I am more of blues classic hard rock, the stock pups are really good, but eventually I love to upgrade them, I highly recommend these guitars,
mooer is really blessing from heaven to those who always dreamt to play big amp but cant afford.mooer have solved it with a handy solution.i'm looking forward to buy 008,009 n 002
hey, keep up the good work! I have the same guitar and wondering if changing quantum pickups to SD (not sure about specific model yet) can vastly change the tone of guitar? I feel like quantum pups are quite muddy, not clear and missing punch - not happy with them. BTW really killer tone man!
Thank you for such kind words. Yes changing pickups will definitely change the tone of a guitar. I chose the Seymour Duncan Omega bridge Humbucker because this guitar has a lighter weight but it’s still a warmer tone being mahogany. The Omega is perfect having super tight lows a nice balanced upper midrange that I love and top clarity end bite.
How i can learn play this chords? 4:30 - 5:15 whit what name can i find this chords? please help me, i like this style of riffs but i can't make my own riffs because i don't know the technique of this
Surrey That awesome news! Thank you for enjoying my playing and tones too. Guitar is fantastic and with a few mods and pickup swap it’s now a shredder! Enjoy it. 🤝🎸🔥
I'm 41 and ordered the same guitar but lefty yesterday along with Marshall 30w amp. I'm a newbie, never played before. Hope it all work out for me and help me learn along the way. Any suggestions for beginners?
Cruise With Me awesome enjoy your new guitar. I’d recommend learning basics restringing, tuning, and most of all take the time give yourself patience to learn Dime classic favorite songs. I started out at 13 years old learning Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden songs.
I heard the neck is a little thin, it looks like it feels good. I’ve been rocking a 2009 ibanez gio for a few years now. Thinking about upgrading to this beautiful piece
Javier Herart Excellent thank you!!! Not sure all the videos you’ve been watching, however most of them are in drop C# or drop Bb. I’m glad you like the tones and my playing! 🤝🔥😎
Nice video. I bought the same guitar about half an year ago and i am very happy with it,but i am looking to upgrade it. Any suggestions? I play mostly 80s rock/metal so maybe a pickup that goes well with those styles? Thanks!
David Filipov Thanks man! Yeah for 80’s rock/metal throw in a Seymour Duncan JB bridge Humbucker or even the SH-12 George Lynch screaming demon that’d be perfect. I’m actually happy with the neck pickup.
I’m stuck between this guitar and the Ibanez s521..I have two rg’s so I’m familiar with their body styles. I’m not sure which would be the better value though.
David Crites Thank for enjoying my videos! S521 is a great guitar too, I just prefer hard sharp corners and the heel of the neck is comfortable too with the rga body. They modify excellent too.
How well could this guitar play songs by two feat? I’m trying to find that sound I don’t know what it’s called...just that super clean high pitched electric sound, someone help 😅
Caleb Roper I gave Two Feet a listen great artist beautiful music. For those tones and nice guitar such as Fender classic vibes with single coil pickups and a maple fretboard will get you that bright tone with slap and a great simple classic amplifier Orange, Fender, Roland Jazz etc... Be well hope this helps you. 😈🤘🤝
@@AngryTonesRiffClips thank you sir! I've been doing my research and i did figure that out about the single coils. However I want to be able to make that sound while still being able to play metal. Black sabbath sound. I would assume i could achieve this by getting a guitar with humbucker AND single pickups? :)
Caleb Roper Sure! Or grab a guitar with single coils and just replace the bridge with a Seymour Duncan single coil Humbucker JB junior it’s perfect for what you are describing in your sound research it.
Best is all subjective to how it feels for you. As far as the RGA42FM vs. S521 the RGA42FM is definitely a better build in my opinion. Which is why it’s been one of my favorite guitars over 3 years after I made this video. 🤘
Hi there. I'm looking forward to this ibanez to be my first electric guitar. Do you think this is ideal for intermediate players and do you have any other guitar recommendations?
raghav dube Yes this guitar is fantastic quality and value, however if your just starting out and don’t want to spend a lot, I’d recommend an Ibanez Gio series RG style they are very inexpensive and make a great platform for modding as you get better at playing and finding your tone and style. 🙂
Greg Campbell where I live there are not many options available to choose from. The only gio that is available is 170dx and that is 30$ less than this one. I think rga42 will be my best bet.
@@AngryTonesRiffClips i'm trying to understand the difference. In local store only rga42 available, i cant compare them live. My friend told me that through neck and DiMarzio pickups will be better. But on youtube it seems Rga42 sounds heavier, 62 more air, clearer but less bass or something like that... It seems i like sound of 42 more, may be its because of youtube compressed sound, so i cant make a decision...
Kirill Lebed The Sound your hearing to get this tone is the Seymour Duncan Omega bridge pickup. Gives this guitar an incredible Eq curve and very heavy! Hope this helps. I do not like dimarzio
IT'S ALL ABOUT MOHIT SINGH Both are very nice guitars. Let’s talk the major differences between the two. The RH421AHM has an Ash body, maple fretboard and I noticed the pickups are screwed into pickup rings. I definitely prefer the pickups to attach directly to the body like on the RGA42FM (Just my preference). also note worthy is the RGA has a mahogany body and a Jotoba fretboard which is a wood with very similar characteristics as rosewoods. Ultimately go with what feels right for you and make awesome music. 💪🤜🤛🎸
Great Video. Sorry I'm new with amp sim/pre-amp, so anyway those pedals can make your amp sound like a tube amp? I'm only using a 10w Ibanez amp. TIA for the feedback.
INON CARREON Thank You! Yes no problem go out and buy a simple inexpensive tube amp such as a Orange Micro Dark Terror and these Preamp Pedals come alive and shine. I use them directly plugged into the Power amp section of the effects loop the return.
Btw. How about the orange micro terror? Is it good as well for this pedal and for metal genre as well? I often play pantera, lamb of god and Trivium songs.
INON CARREON Sure that would be fine but it’s much less gain than the Orange Micro Dark Terror. However if Preamp Pedals are the majority of your tone just bu the New Mooer Power engine power amp 🙂🤘🏻
3rd World Gamer Great! It’s an excellent guitar and stock Quantum’s are very well voiced tons of output and a great mid cut EQ curve they are fine! Enjoy it! Fret wrap by Gruv Gear at Neck.

Jaime Ramon it’s perfect! Plays like butter. Low but not super low action. I need a little better tension to get chugs from hell when palm muting. I professionally set up all my guitars myself unless it’s a truss today adjustment.
Really nice ;) I have question to you. In monday I will purchase my guitar and I hesitate between your one (rga42fm) and Ibanez S621QMDeb. In hardware, wood etc they are same but shape is different and s621 is 100$ more expensive, I wonder if it is worth it? Maybe you have this one in your hands.
vonHell Excellent! Well shaping of your guitar is mostly personal preference. For me the sharpened horns and deep cutaway of the RGA42FM just feels comfortable to me. I’ve played this shape most my life and the balance of 7lbs 13 ounces just gives enough weight to the mahogany for warmth throughout the guitars overall tonality. Hope this helps 🙂
Wow. A review where I can actually hear the guitar itself, rather then distorion only.
