This is just my observation without actual any time spent researching so I could just be wrong.... Most of the time it's not bugs at all. It's more social than hygienic. It seems like they find more satisfaction in being the one grooming instead of receiving. Like a dopamine hit in a way. Non human primates in captivity that have no fleas, ticks, etc groom just the same. Macaques fake finding things while grooming. When you watch long enough you can identify specific monkeys by how they groom and some groom in a way that even if there were bugs/debris they couldn't pick it up with how they groom.
He might be afraid of everything not having experienced nothing but those two cages and pointing at letters ! Seen 1 video she posted when he was a baby outside ! After the cages being built she hasn’t posted anything but him in t Either the inside or outside part ! ANIMAL ABUSE !
This is actually sick when you go to the very beginning she has raised him in those 2 pens ! Never experiencing anything more this needs to be reported!

@@ZippedUpKitz It’s been 12 years of documentation she has posted on this channel of Bows so called “Journey” not once does she show him outside nor inside the home even when the titles reads “Adventure Time” I scrolled and scrolled to find at least 1 video of him playing in the grass or yard and she has not uploaded one ! 12 years of content posted to this channel and it’s all been within the confine of those 2 cages ! She has YEARS of him recorded and consistent recordings at that and not one of him even going on a walk ? Something doesn’t seem or feel right ! Especially for an animal that deserves to have at least some grass to roam , a tree or jungle gym to climb & that’s giving bare minimum ! For someone who wants their channel to grow and for people to engage in , you’re telling me all you have to show is him in a damn cage that’s equivalent to a dogs kennel for 12 years of content ? That is so painful to watch ! To have him gaze daily at such a beautiful yard where he can’t even roam is nothing less than abuse !
