I removed the front windshield first. Comes out Much cleaner that way, and didn't really need the side windshields out. Also the dash kit includes a cardboard template to use to make 3 small slits after you peel up the old dash. Using the included template will align the dash perfectly. Thanks🙂
That dashboard definitely looks a lot better. Mine is gatored and should be replaced. Wes on my DRACO I gave it a clear coat finish and it really made the plane look so much better. Because the real DRACO didn't have a flat finish it was shiny like a red Ferrari. I highly recommend it you won't be disappointed. Great video and HAPPY NEW YEAR. BOOZERS 👍👍😎👊✌
Hey, the first thing I want to say is your dad and you make a great team and RUclips channle. I was wanting to pick up the Draco but I'm not sure if it's worth the $649 they want for it. I haven't flown RC planes since around 3yrs after my dad passed away. Just getting back into the hobby but I'm used to flying large-scale warbirds and Skymasters A10. I don't own one but have flown a couple of friends jets. If you think it's worth it can you give me some ideas on what to change to its tires, motors, etc... It seems to me the motor is weak.
No change needed out of the box. It’s a heavy model so you can’t really hover it in like most bush planes. If you are a decent pilot it is an easy aircraft to fly and on 6s power it’s more than enough.
Wouldnt it be easier to just cut the tabs off of the panel? You are gluing it anyway. It seems like it would be a lot easier to align without the tabs.
No, they actually give you a template to lay down after you remove the old dash. Wes and Pops didn't use it for some reason but it shows you where to cut 3 small slits where those tabs slide in. This part is important for the alignment of the dash.
🤷♂️ didn’t come with any instructions so we just stuck it in where the old one was. Anyway yes it comes with a little paper template you can also use that

Grate demonstration Merry Boozer RC, do you recommend all Draco owners to get one of those Draco dashboard on stand by just in case?
Only if your Draco is bubbling from the sun
