I recommend you check the intro video for envision And there are more videos about it in the near future so stay tuned ruclips.net/video/wRBrCQ-h1TY/видео.htmlsi=aiRpZgad_icxrk0l
@@nebbadtoufik3281 hi there, it is not actual caustics, it is fake caustics using a caustics texture map and a vray blend material it was already made in the scene by evermotion I hope that's clear enough, if not let me know and I'll make a short video breaking it down
so what actually is the difference between both? envision is low quality but supports object animation and material editing while vantage is better quality and closer to vray?
Hi there, Envision is actually based on Vantage It could be the Envision beta is built on an older more stable version of vantage and it also lacks some quality controls for now but I think maybe in the future they would match the quality or at least provide quality controls like in vantage
@Lucid-Academy that means vantage will be useless because envision will take its place. Why didn't they just update vantage and add animated people plus material editor there. Vantage has animated water and vegetation already. I think instead of making four or five different programs they should improve their main software which is vray. All of these should have been inside of vray. But I'm sure they have their reasons and I truly respect and appreciate what they are doing. I hope someday vray becomes fast like vantage or vantage gets integrated inside of vray and has the qualities and options of envision 😄So user just needs one software for workflow like in case of lumion d5 twinmotion ue etc. But for now I think it's a great tool for animators.
I would love to have the speed of vantage with the quality and controls of vray as well but I don't think that would happen any soon vray is a path tracer CPU based engine while vantage is a ray tracer GPU based engine that's why it is even faster than other offline GPU render engines like redshift or octane because it is not full path tracing it cuts some corners so it can render faster vantage was meant to be a previz tool at first and you should render your final render with vray but it is quality is getting really good that a lot of people are now using it for render including me 😄 but in my opinion I don't need envision features inside of vantage because I am always using live link with vantage so I would edit my materials and animate my scene and cameras inside of my 3d software like cinema 4d or 3ds max and just use vantage for IPR and final render but for Envision that's meant for Arch-Viz mainly so it comes free anima included just like twinmotion, D5 or Lumion and hopefully in the future they add animated cars as well so it is just for quick scene assembly and renders as advertised
What is this Envision quite new for me

Hi, thank you for your comparaison, please can you explain how you achieved to have such caustics in Vantage ? Thank you !

vantage was meant to be a previz tool at first and you should render your final render with vray but it is quality is getting really good that a lot of people are now using it for render including me 😄
