I wish you'd label the fabrics letter A- I with chalk like in the downloadable pattern and assembled it that way so I didn't have to look for the matching shape of fabric to sew next to match the fabric but the bagged in the video turned out so well.
6:45 Should the webbing be sewn below the top seam allowance? I sewed my webbing at the centre of bag sides, as shown in the video, but then I did not have the full seam allowance to sew all D pattern pieces together. I absolutely love this tutorial and my Belt Bag ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for the free pattern!❤
You should mention the width of the zipper. My zipper is 3.2cm wide, so 2cm is going for the seam allowance, and then 1.2cm of the zipper width is added to the side length of the front panel. Which in the consequence makes all further pieces not matching that panel !!!!!
Hi Chloe, Yes this pattern is still available! There is a link in the description box to the blogpost. If you have an adblocker it sometimes can make the download box not visible. Here is a direct link to the blog corefabricstore.com/blogs/news/free-belt-bag-pattern
You would add the optional pocket on to the back lining piece before assembling your belt bag together. There are two dots on your back piece for the pocket placement. Hope this helps let me know if you have anymore questions. 😊
It is totally possible to reduce the size! I would print it at a reduced scale to get smaller pattern pieces. I would start at maybe printing at around 70%. Hope this helps and we would love to see how your mini version turns out!
So cute thanks ❤

Hi there, so glad you love your new belt bag! Yes, the webbing should be placed just below the seam allowance as shown in the video. 😊
Gracias por el tutorial y también por el patrón ❤❤

Done !
2:15 "2 yards of webbing". I used approximately half of it.
The pattern shows an inside pocket, while the video doesn't show it !
Hi there! The pocket is optional 😊
@@CoreFabrics Yes, I understood it once my sewing finished, and noticing the two pieces unused.
Hi, I do not see this on the website. Is it still available?

@@CoreFabrics Thank you so much!! I see it now.
Would it be possible to substitue the D ring for a buckle strap?? Thank you for this fabulous tutorial ❤❤
Yes, absolutely!
@@CoreFabrics thank you so much for replying!! Would I just follow the same steps but use the buckle?
Exactly! You could also play with the length of the webbing on either side of the belt bag. That way you could tie the buckle in the middle.
When and where is the optional pocket piece “E” added?

@@CoreFabrics thank you.
Hi, great bag pattern and tutorial. Would it be possible to reduce the size for a child’s bag? Thank you

Thank you! I am sewing it right now and will let you know how it turns out. So far, so good. 😊
I finish the bag and it turned out great! I’m not sure where to post a picture so you can see but will put it on my instagram account (it’s private)
@@barbarareynolds2023my boy asked for a bag too what percentage did you print at? My boy is 6yo.
What does the patch mean the Bon ? Just curious I'm a newbie
The patch says Bon Vivant which is French for a person who loves living the good life 😊
