WOW! Theo and Helga have an OUTSTANDING collection of BEAUTIFUL cacti :-) so many stunning plants and I thought I had a lot of cacti lol!, absolutely AMAZING :-) Thank you so much for sharing this :-) Sending much love from Ireland :-) XXXX
Sal Petrillo Excellent. That is a great thing to do, getting the next generation interested. It was actually my grandmother who gave me a cutting of an epiphytic cactus who sparked my first interest in these amazing plants.
Many cacti will grow in the open air in Australia however this collection was growing in Southern Victoria in a cool mountainous area. Many of these plants may have struggled in those conditions. Theo grew this collection indoors to get the best result. This helped make it a great collection.
These Blue ones are Pilocereus magnifus. The plants you see there are propagated cuttings off a huge plant that Theo grew from seed. I think this is the most striking blue magnifus that I've seen.
At 3:14 in the video, at the middle there is very tall cacti with white other "woll" what is the name of that ? i ask because i have one that looks very similar and i do not know the name.

The one in the centre is Espostoa.
Have a look at cactiguide.com as you may find exactly what species you have.
