Samantha Fish is a prolific songwriter and gifted blues guitarist who has released six albums since her debut in 2009. She's a seasoned performer whose versatile vocal delivery and technical, yet soulful guitar playing has spanned the gamut of roots music: rock n roll, jazz, blues, country and even doo wop. Fish released two albums in 2017 alone, highlighting her deep knowledge of Southern blues and Western country.

This song should be a number one hit on the country charts instead of all that fake feel good programmed noise currently called country. Merle and George would be proud to have heard a song with soul and some pain of living a life.

Amazing that someone who can rock as hard as Samantha does can also do a sweet country blues. And yes, it all does come together on Kill or Be Kind, although I'm planning to add Belle of the West to my collection just because. Hope I don't need to wait 2 years for the next one. Go Samantha!!!!

saw her last year in hamburg and i was struck by her bringing horns in the band. now i hear this - complete different style compared to what i like Sam for: solid bluesrock. if she went on this way i lost one of my favourites - what a pity. i hardly would give her a dislike, but i don´t, cos she made good bluesrock at the beginning 2010´s.
