- We took our stock Chevy S10's to Blue Holler Offroad Park in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, to test the limits. Climbing rocky hills, getting rowdy in the mud, getting towed by RZR after the ZR2 got stuck, finding the sand cave, getting a flat tire.. We drove around 10 miles trail riding!
ZR2: 262K miles, stock everything, automatic
Red S10: 268K miles, 4.3tbi 4X4 5 speed open diff, 3in lift (still lower than the ZR2), 31X10.50 Cooper Evolution M/T (factory ZR2 tire size)
-The axle was popping on this truck before we even started today

S-10 trucks are as American as apple pie lol, gotta love em!
Amen to that!!
That ZR2 needs some good M/T tires.
loved my S10, miss it.
They’re so much fun
Damn A/T tires! Lol
That thing needs some murders! We wouldn't have had any trouble if it was a bit dryer
@@s10life wondering what tire are you running
Those shit tires damn near got him in a bender. Never go in clay with a/t tires lol
I've flattened mine a little and it helps but yeah ats tires not for this clay
Is the green one a 2002 zr2. Because that looks exactly like mine
It's actually black but yes it is a ZR2!
What kind of tires were on the black s10?
They were all terrain
Thinking about going out this weekend in a 21 bronco. Were most of the trails wide enough for y’all? I’ve got a long drive home to Chattanooga so looking to have some fun with minimal risk as I’ve got to get it home🤣
Yes most trails were more than wide enough but still be careful there’s been a lot of rain this week with more to come so I’m sure it’s going to be slimy out there!
Not sure if you’ve gone yet but my dad just took his new bronco this weekend. It’s got spacers and a 2” puck lift right now and 38s. It fit on all the trails and it made it up a lot of the technical stuff that my XJ on 31s and locker rear couldn’t do. We also have a JK on 37s we took. Just moved to bowling green from west point tennessee
Lol the zr2 would do well with some tread
Very true lol
send it harder budd
Is that the transfer case popping in the red ZR2 or ball joints? Killer video 👍
It was actually my CV axle 😆
@@s10life ahhh, okay!!! It still performed amazingly
That it did! I was overly impressed with the truck. It’s undergoing surgery now to get rid of the TBI/hm290 for a MPFI/nv3500
@@s10life hey have a 1998 gmc jimmy 4x4 sle 4.3l vortec motor 4l60e transmission np233 transfer case. I'm going for a oldsmobile bravada axle passenger side swap to eliminate the vaccume actuator and swap a np231 manual transfer case to get rid of the tccm transfer case control module and vacume set up. I'm at stock height 235/75r15 want to go 30 10.50 r15 or 31x10.50r15. Considering a 6inch rough country lift 🤔
Those little cheap air pumps will burn an alternator up quick with continual usage.
That’s one lovely lady 😂 jaaarooood I’ll make you take me home!
HAHAHA she gets fired up
What’s that awful noise that trucks making?!
That is a axle on its way out
@@s10life good to know! Here’s a question of my front axel is broke will 4x4 just be rear wheel drive? My 4x4 isn’t working I just got it and trying to learn how to fix my own stuff
Thank
What’s that clinking and axle?
Yes the CV axle was toast
JARROD THAT'S ENOUGH! 😂
She was fired up lol
love this got 94 gmc highrider with 50k miles
Very cool and extremely low miles!
Omg stop the wheel is off the ground boys. Freaking take me home now. We came to an off-road park but take me home lololol
She’s so funny when she’s mad 😂
