which one would you keep?? the ipad air or ipad pro??? - don’t forget to subscribe!! i’m going to Apple Park for WWDC next week so there’s soooo much more fun Apple content coming up!!! :)
Would keep the iPad Pro as the processor has more longevity and upgraded RAM with more storage space similar to the reasons you've mentioned in this video. Also has more horsepower and layers in the Pro Apps which works with my workflow.
The iPad air is more than enough for me, for what I'd use it for and the price mostly, at the moment, I'm thinking about getting the new air 6 but I wait to see if the iPad 11 (that will be released this year ?) could be a cheaper and better alternative for me or not, if not I'm going with the air 6 😁
I have used iPads for years and have had basically all the sizes, but one thing holds true. If money isn’t an issue the base model 11in iPad Pro with the new magic keyboard is the absolute best and most portable device for daily computing. I have a gaming PC at home for the gaming tasks, but all my life organizing and school work is smoother on the iPad Pro. I previously got the new 13in iPad Air, but after trying the 11in iPad Pro I realized how much I enjoyed the new magic keyboard and the pro motion display, as well as the oled screen!
@@shameermulji @shameermulji, in the past, I used an 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and it was an excellent experience for a while. Notably, it was particularly great for note-taking. However, as I progressed through college, I began to appreciate the smaller form factor. Consequently, I switched to the M4 11-inch iPad Pro as my daily driver for a while now. I can confidently say that I can use it for almost everything I need. While I do require a Windows computer for certain tasks related to my cyber security studies, I can handle all my note-taking, studying, consuming content, gaming, and communication on this device.
@@shameermulji @shameermulji, I have one more thing to add. I opted for the base model version of the M4 11” iPad Pro. I could have easily purchased an older M1 or M2 model, which would have been just as good. However, I wanted to future-proof my investment due to Apple Intelligence and the crazy longevity of these devices.
I upgraded from an iPad 7th generation to an 11 inch Air. The difference is like night and day. For what I need it for the pro would have been complete overkill
I’ve just recently upgraded my iPad from a iPad Pro M1 from 2021 to a 2024 iPad Air 11 inch. I went with the air because the M1 still was doing everything I needed, but it had a pretty big crack on the screen which was very annoying for me. Because I could feel it for reference I’m completely blind so the new OLED screen and 100 and whatever refresh rate wasn’t the end of the world for me so the iPad Air was the perfect middle ground for me had a little bit of a spec bump. And for me touch ID is easier for whenever. I’m doing work in bed not having to try to remember to focus and remember where the FaceTime camera is.
The iPad Air is a great tablet, I’m fine with 128GB of storage, Liquid Retina display, older Magic Keyboard, even Touch ID over Face ID isn’t that big of a deal. M2 chip is plenty powerful but the biggest deal breaker for me, a HUGE negative point is the lack of 120hz display, if it had Promotion I would get it over the Pro.
can you explain to me what promotion does exactly? I just bought newest Air as a replacement for my 2018 ipad pro and i see zero difference in the display quality. I am using it mostly for graphic design, illustration, notetaking and youtube though, is there any other area where it makes a difference?
I was going to get the new air but my husband surprised me with the pro and my eyes instantly notice the new screen and it took me a few days to get used to it but over all I’m in love with my new iPad❤
I think it's now called "Air" because the tech inside is not the best, but better than other models. So it's like the Pro - but not as good as the Pro.
It has nothing to do with that. The iPad Air is amazing and I have been using all apple products and I have always had the pro versions, and this time I gave the air a chance and it is amazing. It has nothing to do with your theory of not having the best tech inside.
I too wanted the Air 13” because it was cheaper and bigger and can do pretty much everything a Pro can do, but once you go 120hz, it’s hard to go back. I ended up getting the 11” Pro which weighs almost nothing, has Face ID, and if it’s something I’m going to use daily and constantly, it’s worth the extra money.
Totally agree with you on all those reasons. For I switched because of FaceID (had it on prior iPad Pro), 120 refresh rate, flash on camera, 256 vs 128gb storage and the new keyboard with quieter haptic trackpad and function row keys. Had my prior iPad for 4 years and always wanted a proper keyboard. I also scored both the iPad Pro and keyboard at Best Buy "open box" which the total came to $1150..........that hurt just typing that. 🤐 O' I forgot I got $300 for a trade in so it was $850.............still hurts!!!
Super cute video, easily understandable and relatable. Been following you for a while now and it’s so cool to watch you grow as a content creator and an individual. Keep up the great work!❤
The nano glass will either become standard in a couple years or it’ll go away. So I think we can hold off on that. I agree with you. I have the same girl math and went with the pro for all the same reasons you did.💕💕💕
Made it here early today! Do what you can. This perspective is relatable Julia. I personally have two iPads because owning three is too many for me to keep up with. Hoping that all is well with life these days. Your handwriting is pretty lovely 😊🤩📱
I just bought my iPad Pro M4 1Tb with the pencil pro from Best Buy. It will be my first iPad ever and its EXPENSIVE, so I was thinking of initially getting an older Pro model or just the Air model. I plan using it for drawing in Procreate, some photo editing too. I've never used Procreate but I have experience in Photoshop on desktop so hopefully I won't be totally lost. I think honestly I could have gotten any older M-version and be fine but as a first tablet I wanted to feel special. I agree on the color option. All the fun colors are left to all the other models.
Thank you for these videos. It helps so much when deciding what product I want. I would lean towards the pro too cause I have the 2021 pro now. Also just love the vibes of your videos always 🤗
Hey there! I have a question, for uni. and watching movie-shows yt etc. Which one should i buy; ipad air m2 11" or ipad pro m2 11" (all of them with pencil tho) ? In my country the ipad pro m2 11" is 5k more than new ipad air so which one is better for long term? New ipad is 2 years younger and it will be get more updated that's the two reason im stuck with it: m2 pro price and update stuff... 🤷🏻♀️ and also is it big enough 11"? I want to buy the 13" but the price diff is literally 10k its so much tho. I would like to state that the iPad I bought can be updated for at least 6-7 years and that I want to use it for a very long time without lag or other problems.
I haven’t made my purchase yet, but I have been to the store a few times. I’m waiting for conference before I purchase. There’s a couple of features that are going to determine which one I get. it looks like you do like I do. I try to keep my devices along time only I use them for about two years for myself and pass them on to a family member who uses them another 4+ years I would buy the new one since you’re a student, probably the smaller screen would be better. It’s going to be equal to a regular piece of notebook paper so it will be perfect for taking notes and doing things. The models in the screen is amazing so if you really want to enjoy the TV watching and things like that it would also be worth it and with the new addition, Apple bylaw has to keep it for seven years, so every year older, you get the less you have so if you buy two model, you’re only gonna have five years of life out of it before they stop supporting it and updating it.
GUYS if you wanna buy the IPad Air, do so. Do not listen to those influencers on RUclips telling you this or that. I have been using iPad pros for a long time and I decided to get the air this time, just because I wanted a different look. They work exactly the same. I don’t know if you use a trash table but mine is stunning. I know bunch of great influencers or content creator here that use the iPad Air 13 inch for very creative work and they have not been disappointed.
You can because there not much difference. I have been buying apple products since day 1 and i always had the pro versions. This time i got the air and it is extremely perfect.
if that’s really the case I’m very sorry. I take back what I said. It’s that there are so many people misusing this and this is a great opportunity if items not working. I’m sorry again.
I hope you get used items cause you bought this USD it and your returning it. God knows the next person to purchase your used iPad went through the trouble of saving money to get a “new” and ends up with yours. I would say life is not fair but you’ll end up with what you deserve.
It's essentially the old iPad Pro M2 masquerading in a new outfit for the upcoming school term. The iPad Air M2 isn't suitable for photo and video editing or gaming tasks.
Yeah I think the nano texture is not worth it with all those paperless foils, even magnetic detachable ones, out there so that’s a good way to safe money and still get a richer looking display. If it doesn’t kill your bank it’s totally nice to treat yourself to the pro especially as a professional…but why can’t they have pretty colors too 😭🩷

The iPad Air...5
I love my iPad Pro m4 256gb :) now just to find a good case for it
iPad Pro and I don't even have an iPad!

I have the 10th generation iPad and I love it. It works great and does everything I need it to do for me
Same it’s amazing people are excepting a lot from an iPad they forget an iPad is a tablet not a laptop!
that one is a nice one too!!

60hz in 2024 is a crime. At least 90hz should be okay for the air.

I love your honesty!
I'm trying out the 13in pro also this year. I have my m1 11inc pro since it came out. Finally upgraded. I think you made a great choice!
I think it's now called "Air" because the tech inside is not the best, but better than other models. So it's like the Pro - but not as good as the Pro.
