The problem is Shayna is too legit. She would kill every female wrestler in WWE. It's the same reason Rhonda and the other mma females didn't work out.
Because she's boring, her second NXT reign was soooo unnecessary

No unfortunately, Josh Barnett said on some podcast that he trains Shayna in MMA and wrestling, and he’s seen William Regal at other Bloodsport events scouting, so he figured he’d just ask and WWE was surprisingly cool with lending Shayna out for the match
