Hi Molly. Another great video. I loved your outfits and your book reviews. Great that you're studying nature writing. I read anything by Melissa Harrison and her podcast The Stubborn Light Of Things is my absolute favourite. I've listened to every episode at least 50 times. Flapjack looked yummy too. Have a great week
Agreed with all said here. Especially Melissa Harrison’s writing. The Stubborn Light of Things podcast was a beautiful gift to the world at the beginning of the pandemic
I don't think you are ever boring. I know this is an old video but I heard you say that and I want to assure you that you aren't. I love your day in the life and week in a life videos. You're very creative and you're able to take the information that you share and make it fresh every time.
Hello Molly… I would like to recommend the book Where the Crawdads Sing… It is wonderful… A major theme of the story is aloneness and how a girl deals with it, in nature, by the sea… It really resonated with me… They have made it into a movie and it comes out in July but I can’t imagine that it will even compare to the book… There are things in the book that would not be possible to portray in a movie… considering what do you do for your job, you will love this…😊🌾
Hello from NYC. I just discovered your channel. I love your videos. I would love to see more dog walks and Scottish country. I also love these long vlogs. Is that Vegan butter? How is it?
Hello! So happy to have you here 😊. Yes it is vegan butter and I like it, especially good for baking! I'll continue to share lots of countryside content 😊
The scenery on your walks is simply breathtaking!! What I wouldn’t do to be there instead of dusty, crowded, southern CA… someday. And you are vegan!!!!!!!!!!!! Me too! It’s always amazing how without knowing it, I end up following people like you! I am going to read “Hare” & “Mrs England”. :) Your nature writing course sounds incredibly interesting!
I love your vlogs ! My favourite recent book has been Wild Fell by you RSPB colleague in the Lake District, Lee Schofield. He is doing tremendous work in bringing together countryside stakeholders and getting them to work together. I know he finds this tremendously challenging, but he is courageously persevering and his writing is very good, very readable and gripping. I learnt so much from him. Although I live in Greater Manchester I am very blessed to have the Peaks, The Lakes, the Sefton Coast, The Cheshire Plain, The Dales and North Wales Within one hours drive and I love nature, so I still consider myself to be very blessed. I often visit Scotland as my brother lives in Glasgow, he left for Aberdeen University at 18 and never wanted to leave Scotland again.
I love how you covered everything in this video, something for everyone. Although, my favorite interests are homemaking/organizing and simple cooking, I loved seeing part of your country. I enjoyed the outdoor market, cafe (with partner👍🏻), clothing, gardening and books. Thank you❤
Loved the book recs. Good for you on your writing course too! I think it would be interesting to watch a video about your wildlife conservation work. The busy bird survey season you’ve mentioned sounds interesting.
That book Mrs. England sounds good. Actually, both books sound wonderful. I’m an American but one of my best friends lives in Glenlivet. My great grandfather’s family came over from Scotland. I want to visit so bad.
One of my favourite Highland-based nature writers is John Lister-Kaye. You are probably well aware of him as the conservationist and naturalist who established the Aigas Field Centre.
Aw thank you! Recipe for the marinated tofu is - - 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp garlic granulates, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp thyme, 2 tsp nutritional yeast (optional) and salt & pepper. Cut tofu into slices or cubes and marinade for at least 1 hour but preferably overnight. Fry until slightly browned and crispy. Its yummy! :)
Really enjoyed watching, I have bookmarked the market as we are up in Scotland in October doing a campervan week. Maybe it will, all coincide? Take care x
