The repetition at Tom Ford, really since 2020, just boggles my mind, like who signs off on these color stories? I really wonder what their excuse is. Almost seems like Estee Lauder said " they shalt not have any competing colors with us." This used to be a favorite brand for me, but I don't think I have purchased anything since 2019 Soleil Neige collection.

How right you are. That's what I can't understand about this obsession so many have with Tom Ford, especially at their absurd prices. All of these Quads look very much the same. I actually own Honeymoon and Body Heat, yet never paid anywhere near full-price! I can never defend this brand for its absolute lack of variety or pricing. I wished to try it out for myself and can't find anything extra special with these shadows.💖
This color story is gorgeous. Of course I like it, it’s just like Smoky Quartz (except with a special shade). Smoky Quartz is my most worn of the first iteration of the Creme formula! 😂 I want to pick up Ember Bronze this fall if it’s still around. I don’t want to run out and get it now, because I know these are colors I won’t wear right now. If it’s gone, I’ll just wear Smoky Quartz with a red/bronze from my ND Bronze palette and call it a day. I have oily lids and the previous Creme formula actually lasts well on me! I love it. I was worried when I heard there was a reformulation. Now I’m less worried and more just interested!
Oh, how i didn’t want to like this one but i do🙈. I have Iconic smoke and the formula is divine. I am on low buy-no buy this year and am choosing this quad over Chanel spring collection. Thank you for the review as always. 🌸🇦🇺💙
Oh Jennifer I am laughing and crying at the same time. In Australia the quads now cost $165 equivalent to over $100US . This is a pass for me as I have Body heat and Honeymoon. The latest quads I have purchased (Apre ski and Tropical dust) have disappointed me-didn’t live up to the hype. I spent years not purchasing Honeymoon and bit the bullet with the Valentine collection this year. Cute packaging but now the colour payoff is not the same as the original ahhh. The other quad in this collection reminds me of my first TF quad Soleil neige. The charm and ‘specialness’ of TF has gone. We are left with mundane Estee Lauder 😢
This is a pretty color story & looks great on you, but nothing I don't already have in my other palettes from PML or ND. It is crazy that a TF quad costs more than a ND midi palette and a mothership on sale. Thanks for the review!
I definitely want that special shade, and I’m excited to use the formula. But I’m going to wait, & hopefully I can get it even 15% off or More during spring sales. I see LE, TF quads around long after their launch season, but if I miss it I’ll be ok.

I don’t like Valentine’s Day I think it’s been blown way out of control passing out cards in school was fun but now it’s like Christmas it’s ridiculous a profit maker! Thank you for the comparisons!

I like that the red tone is warmer and orangey rather than too red or wine toned which makes me look like I have pinkeye 😂 Anything orangey brings out my blue eyes. I’m eager to try this formula. I have oily hooded lids and the original crème formula doesn’t wear well on me. The wet/dry formula wears well and is my favorite of all time. Beautiful look on you! ❤
Both quads look so fall, smokey and moody/murky. Is there anything spring or summer in sight? 👀 I saw a new lipstick coming with nothing but bland brown nudes and some red... I guess you can say the quads are glamorous evening, to me the whole thing gives crumpy vampire on fair people 😅
You keep saying cocoa mirage is a crème formula but I have 2 of the original cocoa mirage palettes and it is not a crème formula. It’s a finely milled powder formula nothing like these new crème ones. Also it doesn’t state on the box that it’s a crème formula. Are you talking about the mink mirage palette? I don’t have that one because I missed out when they discontinued it suddenly. I hope Estée Lauder will stop repeating these shades over and over and just bring back cocoa mirage. Tom Ford has had no say in his beauty line since EL took over.
Mink Mirage is not cream either. It's finely milled with hardly any fall out. I have Cocoa Mirage + back up and it still feels like butter and silk to swatch. I think that's the comparison being made.
I got the Iconic smoke and found the formula is not as good as the wet dry. The eyeshadows are too powdery and got into my eyes every time. The shades are too dark for me, so I had to return it.
Surely this must be a joke? All of those Quads basically looked the same. No wonder I call Tom Ford a boring brand and this proves it. I'm not at all put off by the reddish shades, as I own both Honeymoon and Body Heat that were not bought from a retail store. As soon as the extra colour was added by finger, it was far too harsh and the edges needed to be blended out - badly. It was as if two bright Christmas baubles were staring at me. For mature lids, Tom Ford needs to be used with a much softer touch.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

Yes, the soleil neige collection was the last ‘creative ‘ collection (in my eyes). I picked up a quad and the blush/highlight stick. Amazing products.

It’s like one color or MAYBE 2 is different. They are nice. But for the price , I want that WOW factor. That red orange color is so pretty
