@@cindymcopeland I can only say smash them to the end stopper. It also depends on what size of yarn you are using. It's recommended to use a Tunisian hook that is 2-3 sizes larger than stated on the wrapper on the yarn. Make a gauge swatch to be sure you need 100+ stitches for what you are making.

Use a long hook. The ones with a cord are easier on your wrist. 1/3 the length of the finished project is the recommended length.
